The cyclic nature of the Suns means that in a year or 2 I'll be going to games for free like back in '01-02.
Its hard to justify rising seat prices when we get kicked out of the playoffs a step quicker than the year before.
Then, he made a bold trade to bring in an aging superstar to try to win a championship but he's still cheap?
And he paid 8 million to be the first team to ever broadcast all of their games in HD.
Cheap I tell ya.
It's easily justified:
Supply and Demand
The Suns are the biggest show in town, as long as Nash, Stoudemire, and Shaq are here they will continue to be. Even after that, the Suns are a big enough drawn and the games are enough fun that they'll continue to be able to justify those prices. Championship or not. The place seats less than 19K people, and there are over 5 million people here in the area.
And he paid 8 million to be the first team to ever broadcast all of their games in HD.
Cheap I tell ya.
