Its hard to justify rising seat prices when we get kicked out of the playoffs a step quicker than the year before.

It's easily justified:

Supply and Demand

The Suns are the biggest show in town, as long as Nash, Stoudemire, and Shaq are here they will continue to be. Even after that, the Suns are a big enough drawn and the games are enough fun that they'll continue to be able to justify those prices. Championship or not. The place seats less than 19K people, and there are over 5 million people here in the area.

i wouldn't go that far - the suns were a very easy ticket in the 03-04 season and even 04-05 it wasn't that hard to get tickets - usually at a huge discount - they may keep trying to charge high amounts, but people wont be paying for them

Then, he made a bold trade to bring in an aging superstar to try to win a championship but he's still cheap?

And he paid 8 million to be the first team to ever broadcast all of their games in HD.

Cheap I tell ya.
