Do the Cards still have the money to go after Orakpo AND AP now? Sorry, the salary cap is not my forte.
Yes they were 15 million under with another 7.4 million available if they need to go ahead with the restructure with Carson Palmer

Where does it rank in terms of guard salaries? That's insane for a guard IMO but not my $$$$
I just haven't heard a number for either of the Falcon's players added with Woodley, added with Iupati. It starts to add up.
And hope for no injuriesSeeing him twice a year at least they know exactly what they're getting. A mauler in the run game. I hope he can hold up at least the three years.
Put Cooper at Center and I think we have the makings of a solid OL. Need one more good interior guy.
campbell is in line for a restructure if needed too.
Actually Veldheer's contract overall wasn't much less - 5y/$35mill. The biggest difference is the guaranteed $$$.That says Cards paid for Iupati`s 3 ProBowls. When Veldheer makes a ProBowl that could result in a monetary change.

Can he cover a tight end?

Jmo but there is no way Orakpo signs for 6 million per season he needs to sign an incentive laden contract due to his injury history and down stats the last couple two seasonsYeah that is what I am wondering too.
If they cut lorenzo Alexander, cut sendline - replace with a cheaper shipley and restructure calais
Here is what I am figuring
So they had 21 mil
2.5 from lorenzo
3.5 from sendline
3 mil from Cambell restructure
30 mil cap room
8m Iupati
4m Weatherspoon
3.5m Peters
8m Peterson ?
6m Orakpo
1.5m Shipley
31 mil
hmm - and need about 4 mil for rookies
There could be a problem - those numbers on the signees could be less on the first year, but still would be very tight.
Definitely don't see room for Cromartie

Probably a $10-12mill signing bonus for Iupati. Hey, we've complained about the Oline forever and now the left side is set for the next several years.
Anyone wonder what side they'll run under?
