Well, if we signed him, we would have got a few pages about his injury history.

yes... because worrying about guys with massive injury concerns... on a team who's been beset by players with massive injury concerns is CRAZY!!!

And spare me your comparison with Saffold... who's playing in almost every game 4 of the last 5 years at a Pro-Bowl level which is a gulf of difference from a guy with Hicks' injury issues.

We could sign Jesus himself and people would be like, "He's too old and prone to wounds."

the next time we sign someone like "Jesus-esque" and people bang on it, you'd have a point.

You know... like people flew off the handle when we gave Chandler Jones a huge deal... or PP... or Larry... wait. Those are Jesus-like figures and everyone was pretty happy with those contracts.

WAIT A SECOND... HOW THE HELL IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!?!

I like the signing if intentions are for him to be a placeholder until a draft pick is ready and then a very solid back up after. Hoping the contract numbers back this up

love it when the guy who throws incredibly stupid projected arguments out at others then tells them to lighten up when that crap is shoved back up their butt.

Good form moderator.

Top line description: "Lunch pale OL."

Maybe not a full-time starter, but we can use a bit of gritty depth.

Evaluation on this board - mixed.

Well PFF ranked him 49th in pass blocking and 51st in run blocking last year with an overall grade of 47.

In other words he was not good - at all.

Hopefully we did not pay him too much, - but I fear we did.

I'm afraid to hear what the Cardinals paid him. This signing reminds me of when the Cardinal went after Adam Snyder to play guard and gave him big bucks only to cut him a year later. At least this time it's only a two year deal.

Trash signing. Sub average in all facets of the positions. Seen him get his ass kicked at the line of scrimmage.

I think if you're trying to rebuild intelligently, these are the type of FA signings you have to make. Middle of the road talent that you don't have to overpay too much for.

You can send big money in FA, sure, but spend it to retain your heroes. Your Fitzs, PPs, and Chandler Jones-es.

I hope everybody agrees that Superbowls are "won" less during FA, and more on draft day.

unfortunately, this FO has been bad the last three in both the draft and FA.

that's a killer.
