Everyone ready to give props to Amare and Nash, this guy goes out and makes every tough shot..

19 points , 4 threes (a few of them were huge momentum stoppers)

On a night where everyone was clanking from three, this man said NOT ME, NOT NOW..

Respect the Beast.

I still cringe everytime he goes up for a dunk.

Didn't you bash him the same way you did Amare earlier? When will you pick up on bashing him again, after one or two subpar games?

I never bashed J-Rich, the guy plays hard and keeps his mouth shut. If you can find where I bashed J-Rich go ahead and please post it here.

The only guys I have bashed on these forums are

Amare
Frye
Collins

I may have said something about J-Rich's DUI and stuff but obviously not about his game.

Do you hate Amare so much? Or because you hate me for bashing Marion when he was here?:D

Ugh, I NEVER liked Marion that much. I ALWAYS wanted the suns to keep JJ over him but Marion was the "Good Ole Boy".

I like Amare, but not for the super max for the next 5 years.

.

Marion was all but untradable for most of his career. He was a vastly overpaid role player. He couldn't shoot consistently and didn't like contact when attacking the basket. He scored mostly by leaking out, but that limited his defensive rebounds. Marion was a decent defender, but not a Bowen/Artest stopper.

You know what, J-Rich was the guy who I thought would totally suck in playoff games due to his streakiness but so far, he plays the most consistent "good" ball among all.

I think it's just taken Richardson some time to get over the shock of being traded from Golden State. He went from playing for the "King of the Undercoachers" to the "King of the Overcoachers" and it messed with his head. And now, playing for a reasonably sane Gentry has allowed him to regain his confidence and his game. It took him awhile but it's been worth the wait.

He has been the most consistent Suns throughout playoffs with couple of games exceptions.

Did anybody listen to Gentry's post game interview? He said that he wanted to put JRich back in the game for Barbosa. However, JRich replied that Barbosa is playing so well, that he should just stay in there.

Says a lot about the character of JRich.

And most of the starting 5.

The intangibles that make it fun to be a Suns ballplayer or a fan.
