Stupid player. Period.

Want to play the game? Follow the rules and obey the law.

It's very simple.

Bad luck.

Go ahead and google how many players in the NFL smoke pot. Most estimates are over 50% or more. One survey asked 16 players and 15 admitted they routinely smoke pot.

You are calling about half the Cardinals, or more, "stupid". What is stupid is the NFL treating this drug like it's cocaine. It will be a moot point in maybe a decade as legalization spreads.

The reality is it's perfectly legal in the state of Arizona.

The NFL would rather have its players on pills for there pain and if you know anything about drugs at all you know pills are 100x worse than smoking weed.

Hate to break it to some of you guys but more than half the NFL and NBA smoke weed and a lot of times it's guys you would never guess.

Real sports just did a piece on this

It's not perfectly legal in Arizona unless you get a prescription, which obviously Jalen does not if he got arrested.

But regardless, If you play in the NFL, you're not allowed to smoke pot. It's a pretty simple rule and it's not really that much to ask considering how short most players careers are.

It really has nothing to do with whether or not pot is legal or if it should or shouldn't be. It's the sheer stupidity of the situation of sacrificing everything you have worked your whole life for, to smoke pot.

There's a rule that says you cant smoke pot, and these idiots do it anyways. So I'm not going to sit here feeling sorry for poor Jalen or Dwaste or anyone else who cant control their pot consumption for a few years while they make millions of dollars and then are free to smoke all the pot they want for the rest of their lives. lol

It's just so stupid it's hard to comprehend. And I have nothing against pot, I'm a big fan, lol. Would I give up everything for it like some of these idiots? No.

Regardless of anything...he should've at least had his medical card so he could actually carry weed around without being hassled. Stupid move, either way. The NFLPA is going to have to do something about this weed issue...too many players use it for it to be restricted.

It doesn't matter how many are doing it. What if everyone was jumping off a cliff?

It is banned by the league and you are taking a huge risk as a player to possess or smoke it.

Um.. no. They were in a freaking Maserati (or was it a Lambo? Same difference), without license plates. And some idiot was firing up, while cruising Scottsdale. What could go wrong? That's not "bad luck", that's an incredible level of stupidity.

I agree with the others who aren't against marijuana use, and feel it should be legal - but fact is, an NFL player JUST CAN'T DO THIS and expect to not suffer some very serious consequences.. whether he likes it or not.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Fire up somewhere else in the offseason, you'll have no trouble.

Is it banned to post high on ASFN?

only if you get out of line... studies show most potheads forget why they were angry or offended way before they can actually complete a reply.

That raises an interesting question. I wonder how many athletes actually have cards? I would have to say zero because there has to be databases. So we would know by now. Unless the databases haven't been breached yet. Which means one of these days, we're going to see a huge story, listing all the pro athletes with marijuana cards.
