No, actually you don't understand anything. Because if you did, you wouldn't resort to such blatantly exaggerated hyperbole.

I'm always amazed when people run out of defense for Marion they always resort to this kind of slogans.:D

Most of you need to calm down and accept the fact that Marion does not want to go rot in Boston. Seriously, would you want to leave Phoenix for Boston?

No, but I'd be smart enough to see that my value is only going to go down, and a respectable three-year extension right now is very likely the best offer I'm going to get for the rest of my career.

The Suns are going to throw Marion out on his ass in two years, and when he sees how soft the market is for him, he is going to regret this decision.

Edit:

I forgot JO was the third black player that reportedly did no want to play in Boston besides Marion and KG.

Actually, 19 out of 20 stars in this league are black, so whenever a star turns down Boston, he is likely black. That's not an evidence in support of the racial thing.

I lived in Boston for three years in the early 90s, and I can confirm that racial tensions are very high there.

I've got no issue with that and I think Diaw is a complete waste of space right now, and Amare definitely deserves some blame - however, that's just ONE GAME where Amare crapped his pants, as opposed to 66% of the entire playoff career of Marion. That's why he gets dumped on. There's always a myriad of reasons why the Suns lose, but the ONE constant amongst all of those is Marion's routine tortilla job in the playoffs, year in and year out. Whereas, besides Amare's brain fart this year, the guy COMPLETELY raises his game to another level in every single stat.

I too have trouble believing it, but this was the reason the announcer said black stars do not want to go to Boston and he gave Marion, KG and JO as examples. However, that does not make it true.

Maybe Marion cares about winning more than money? He's made more than enough, and I guarantee you he will still get a pretty nice contract once this one is up. Not max money, but decent money nonetheless.

Again, I'm mad that Marion does not want to goto Boston. But the near death threats (exaggeration, I know) are ridiculous.

i went to college in boston. the closer you get to the heart of the city, the worse the race tension becomes. it's definitely a racially charged city, which is ironic considering it's a very liberal state.

I visited BU for two years while living around Porter square. Maybe I just got some thick skin or just ignorant,:p I didn't feel much racism though.
