When Tom Brady was asked how much tape he watched on an upcoming opponent he answered, "all of it".

Suspecting that JaMarcus Russell was blowing off his homework the Raiders sent him home with a blank dvd instead of the normal game plan. Upon being question the next day Russell's comments on the game plan confirmed the coaches suspicions.

Does Jameis Winston strike you as closer to an all of it guy or a none of it guy?
Ding, Ding, Ding!!!

THIS JUST IN: Our dear friend Mel Kiper, Jr. believes that there is NO franchise QB in this coming draft. That being said, why waste a number 1 pick on a qb that only has the potential of being a backup?

Personally I think our coach might be able to work wonders with the Mich St QB Connor Cook.

I just hate the thought of using a first rounder on any QB that isn't named Luck or Manning. Just look at the QBs that were drafted high in the draft the last 2 yrs and their team's record today.

I don't want to go through the pains of waiting on some rookie to go down the drain and take the team with him for 3 or 4 yrs. I can live with a bust at another position like our OL picks, but not another wasted QB pick like Leinert or whoever.

Just take the best LB, DB, RB, or OLman available.

I would rather trade our 1st round pick on an older established QB like Palmer than gamble a 1st round pick on a QB like any coming out this year.

By the way, anyone know how Logan Thomas is progressing? Is he getting the tutoring that he needs? I would be thrilled if coach still thinks he can be our guy in the future.

The better question is, after starting 47425790964378 polls, how have you not yet figured out how to make them public?

I wouldn't draft this kid in the 1st or 2nd round he's a headache waiting to happen once he gets his wallet more full than at FSU

I'm with you on this but honestly the Lucks and Mannings are so rare. Look at RG3 man. Even Cam Newton. Luck is once in a generation IMO. He's one of those players you know he's going to win a SB, question is when. It's a crap shoot really, draft wise.

But I haven't seen a QB like Luck come out of the draft since a dude like Peyton or Marino. One of those dudes who comes out totally polished like a diamond and all you have to worry about his who to put around him. Luck is the best QB I've seen come out in a very very long time.

Look at other QBs like Steve Young for example, they come into the NFL so raw. It's rare to see a dude like Luck who just gets it and already has every tool. It's sick.

Does it really bother you that much if posters make polls to engage people on the board? Do you really have to be snarky all the time to people in here? After being banned 47425790964378 times have you not figured out to post with some decent courtesy?

If he falls to the second because he is a criminal rapist idiot, then probably no.

But as a 3rd rounder then maybe because he's freaking talented.

In the first round? BWAHAHAHA.

They were talking about him vs Mariotta this morning on Mike and Mike. EVeryone had the same agreements, he's a better QB because he plays better from the pocket, Mariotta might not translate to the NFL because if he runs, he'll get hurt like all the other running QB's do.

That said, they all said the same thing, the overwhelming concern on Winston is maturity and off the field issues. The NFL teams are all going to spend countless hours poring over the details of his sexual assault allegations to decide whether they want to use a high pick.

Basically the same old stuff, without the rape allegation he's just an immature kid who tends to get overweight, but outside of some bad INT's is just too good not to take. But when you factor in the rape allegations, it is a whole other scale of decision making on him.

No way in hell.I think he will make Ryan Leaf look mature.Too many negatives to take a top pick on.

I'll get the scoop on him. I think too many people are reading headlines. The guy is a good QB.
