Minnesota's entire offensive game plan were plays designed to beat blitzing and we refused to change anything. Luckily our talent level was enough to overcome them out game planning and our not adjusting.

So after last night the Cards are still 4th in points allowed and yds per game.

We all know our LBers are below average and yet people want to bash on Bettcher. I'm with Bert, yes Bettcher is making some rookie mistakes but by in large he is doing a VERY good job.

We had a putrid defensive game plan, as if we didn't think we were playing the Vikings or something. Putrid. We let them march up and down the field on us. You can act like it doesn't matter all you want, but the facts are ugly. We gave up a 10-point 4th quarter lead, our offense had to bail us out, and our DC can't seem to properly game plan or make a lot of in-game adjustments. It didn't lose us this game, but it can lose us a win-or-out game in the playoffs. I'm confident our defense can bounce back, but it's not because of Bettcher, that's for sure.

I think a lot of that has to do with Bettcher going up against Norv Turner, who for 95% of games is one of the best if not the best offensive coordinators in football. In the end Norv did what he has always done and blew the critical play of the game.
