I'm interested to see Ted Ginn actually play because I'm not sure if he's worthy of the #3 spot. I know he still has pretty good speed (as a rookie he had a 4.28 40yd dash), but he was always a track star with average hands. For his career, he's caught about 52% of the balls thrown his way... obviously that has a lot to do with the throw too. For comparison, Larry has caught 70.5% of the balls he's been targeted on, Floyd is at 55.55% in his young career.
Someone posted on here that Ginn has fumbling problems, but he only has 3 fumbles in his career... all in the 2008 season. 2008 was his best season where he played the most & had the most receptions & yards of his career (56, 790 yds). It's also the only season that he's had over 40 catches, despite playing in 13+ games every season. In 2012 w/ SF, he played in 13 games & only had 2 catches... he must have just played special teams.
It looks like he's been a career #3 or worse... at 29, he's already hit his ceiling. At this point, I'd rather see those chances going to John Brown if he keeps playing like he has in practice & pre-season game#1.
