Just a thread to give this guy some props. The guy just performs it seems even when given his limited opportunities in the regular season albeit few.

He is a guy I would love to see us re-sign especially if we let Floyd walk at the end of the year.

In Arians post game presser his exact words were "Jaron is the best WR we have on this team right now he is the most consistent" some pretty high praise considering the WR corps we have.

He has always been consistent in his limited playing time. I hope the love he is getting now translates to more playing time during the season.

He's always been under utilized by BA IMO. He's probably another reason Floyd likely exits after this season unless we raise the Trophy & Fitz rides off into the sunset.

I personally believe he is the reason they haven't done much to try and re-sign Floyd.

Chances are his role won't change much given who we've got ahead of him.
If he fills the Floyd role next year there would plenty of more opportunity. Can only have so many 150 lb speedsters in your WR corps..

Jaron Brown has been fantastic during training camp. The few times I have been to camp he has done nothing but make plays. He has continued that in the preseason games so far. I would love to see the Cardinals reward him with a 3 year contract extension.

I agree, and he looks big! He has definitely been building his body. I thought that in the game on Friday because he used to look pretty much just like John Brown out there.

But he has also come through in the regular season when given a chance... the Cards need to open their eyes and realize as a undrafted free agent he has more value than Nelson and I like Nelson :)

I still can't get that dropped TD in Seattle out of my head. I know, everyone drops one here and there. That was huge though.

Hopefully he continues to develop and play well when he is called on. He's got some real physical gifts. On a lot of other teams he might be the #3 receiver.

Very solid player. Mature. A real pro. Does everything he's asked and never *******... As an UDFA, would be a fantastic story to see him get his second contract with the team that took a chance on him! :raccoon:

The one defining play he had recently was the Seattle road game last year where he seemingly "snatched" the ball out of the air when it was deflected by a few Seattle defenders. Not sure if this is the same game you are talking about... It was ripe for a typical Palmover and at a juncture of the game where we were either losing or barely head the lead. Huge momentum boost for us. Those small plays may go unnoticed but can build a lot of the "unmeasured experience" points for a player.

How is JB not worth a 3rd rounder to the Browns or another WR starved franchise?

The dropped TD was the previous year. Stanton was playing and hit him right in the numbers. Oh well I guess it's time I let it go.

I just hope he's not one of those guys that makes the spectacular catches but flubs the routine ones. Those kind of receivers drive me crazy.

It may go unnoticed for some, but after years dealing with Early Doucet, Andre Roberts, and Jerheme Urban, it does NOT go unnoticed that our 4th WR come in and makes every play asked of him. Because the 3 stoogies that had that role before him ALWAYS dropped the ball when the Cardinals needed them the most.

Jaron Brown is the DEFINITION of a glue player, cause he literally is the person that from time to time [he is just a role player at this point] holds this team, specifically the offense, together.
