Moral victories don't mean much whatsoever.
I'm so beyond disgusted at the moment. D'Antoni should have used Skinner and even Linton Johnson to match-up against Okur and Boozer (they could have provided even much more physicality).
Why does he insist on playing Diaw? The worst contract extension ever. A player who epitomizes the "1 Hit Wonder" label. Why did he warrant such a maxed-out contract...especially based on a small sample-size.
An 8 man rotation w/a staggering 5 players playing 30+ minutes, which is the worst considering the fast-pace basketball the Suns have to play.
I don't know, I'm beyond livid and have finally joined the let's terminate D'Antoni bandwagon.
People who blame Sarver must realize that he was the one who was willing to invest in maxed-out deals on Diaw/Barbosa, was willing to acquire Shaq, in prior years signed the likes of Jim Jackson, Tim Thomas, Jalen Rose, etc (when he simply could have just taken the easy way out and refused to upgrade the team when it was necessary).
People lament that Sarver was cheap because he traded all those draft choices. Again, everyone constantly overlooks it's D'Antoni who refuses to coach rookies (Strawberry should also be averaging at least 7-mins for some defensive spark).
Oh well, perhaps now we all the know the truth, that [SIZE=-1]Iavaroni probably was the true mastermind. Oh well... unfortunately he's not here to succeed D'Antoni.
