on the dark side though...the Lambs just got better. Three horse race in the NFCW now.

of course,...firmly snuggled between san fran and seattle for third place in the division....
San fran obviously good now. Seattle came on strong. Rams were solid and decimated vby injuries, thought they would take division. NFC west the new NFC east?

last season the Lambs were a difficult team to beat....not contenders, but obviously headed in the right direction.............this season, whether due to injuries,departed players, or whatever, they had a major fall off in performance.
Bradford looked like the real deal last season.....and like max hall this season,.....their drop in performance is likely why they had a coaching vacancy in the first place.
with Fisher in st louie, and if coach rah rah can keep seattle motivated,....the nfcw is gonna be a very tough division to win.

The NFC East's division champ (Giants) won 9 games with the Cowgirls and Iggles at 8.
The NFC West champ (9ers) won 13 with the Cards at 8 and Hags at 7.
I'd say right now, the two divisions are pretty evenly matched. However, if we're talking about the good ole days of the NFC East, the West needs to send a team to the playoffs via the Wild Card. Then, we can talk about legitimacy.

In all seriousness i like the hire because after two regimes of inexperience(Linehan and Spags)we get alot of experience running the show finally.I'm looking forward to the staff that Fisher puts together.
Many Rams fans wanted to go the hot young OC direction after watching one of the most pathetic displays of ofense in NFL history over the course of the last few years,and with the latest trending of the best teams being led by offensive HC's....not me though,i still believe in a hard nosed defense first. I just hope that Fisher's experience will keep him from handcuffing and micro-managing the offense like Spagnuolo did.

Good coach, but overrated. Seems like he's been resting on his laurels for a while now.
I see it playing out similar to Jimmy Johnson's tenure in Miami.
