And how much money do they owe Romo?

that will probably go with him and his contract to Houston when they trade Romo and their entire draft to Houston for the #1 overall pick......and maybe next years second round pick...

His new virtually deal makes it impossible to trade him in the first couple of year IMO & probably for 3 years. I believe his cap figure is $25mil next year followed by $40mil the next. They were talking about this in Dallas today. Jones may get Meziel but I can't see Romo being part of that deal.

Unless JJ gives up bunches of #1s & 2s I can't see it happening unless JF falls out of the top 10.

I don't see it but hopefully it's true cause that takes them out of the running for a defensive star mostly Anthony Barr

...as long as it isn't the Rams who end up with those picks.

Robert Griffin III - the gift that keeps on giving.

Haha no kidding!

I hope they get Johnny and he learns everything he can from Tony Choko that would keep the Girls at 8-8 for the next decade
I love Jerry Jones I hope he remains owner/GM/Ego control freak for the next 50 years

Maybe it's not his plan to deal Romo this offseason anyway? Barring anything but a stellar year from Romo, it's hard to imagine the fans not calling for Manziel after every incompletion--or Jerry doing so himself.

Yeah but the team that trades down could then take Barr. The Cowboys have

the worst D in the league and cant afford to trade alot of picks. Even Jerry

Jones is not that stupid.

JJ was stupid enough to let his intentions leak out prior to the draft.......which in the football world allows that there are no bounds upon his stupidity....

to force some other team to sell out for the top pick?
or something.

They have already invested the farm into Romo. Trading picks or etc for Manziel makes no sense. If he does it, they are officially the raiders.

ya know...I am really hoping JJ has developed a rabid case of Texas homerism and does exactly that. I would love to see that moron put his billion dollar team officially in the NFL toilet.

I hate the cowboys but I have nothing against Jerry, he seems like a cool guy.

Guess you might think differently if you were part of Tom Landry's family

if it is any consolation,....Jerry Jones appears to think he is a pretty cool guy too..............

The guy is a ruthless piece of crap, the money he made was from screwing over people when ever he got the chance and he has a complete insecure character which is constantly seeking adulation... ya, I dislike the guy lol
