Don't know about "lucking out", he was the one who drafted them when most people didn't see either as a need (remember Moss was drafted w/ Carter and Jake Reed having great years. Both were 1000 yrders the year before he was drafted I think. They had great years BEFORE Moss came. And Culpepper was drafted after the George/Cunningham rebirth and nobody thought he needed a QB).

Tough to be agressive in your playcalling when you just don't have the talent to do too much.

It hasn't been too bad. Jets are running zone so there are alot of slant plays being called. I do question the QB draw though. I guess Green didn't want to risk a turnover in the red zone in a game like this. Better to get the 3 and get possesion back at the start of the 3rd.

King has been OK. Better than last week. Atleast he has some pocket prescence. McCown would of been sacked atleast twice now.

Man I thought McCown was bad, but King has raised the bar on horrible QB play in the NFL. How in the world have the Cards managed to end up with such pitiful players at that position?

Not throw the ball in the dirt or 15 yards over the receivers head when the Dlinemen are NOT all over him.

This could also be the first time in NFL history that a team gained more yards on penalties than they did on offense.

Maybe it isn't all on King, but does anyone outside of Shaun King's immediate family think the offense is better since he took over from McCown? Green said that we wouldn't win many games scoring only 17 points. Well, so far we have 13 in 7 quarters under King.
