They gave up a kings ransom to move up 3 spots. Going to take a lot more for the cards to move up. I think that is a price to high.
Not if they get “that” guy.

At least teams are trying unlike a certain team I know & luv! Lol

You can’t be right if you’re afraid to be wrong  That’s the Steve Keim philosophy to QBs lol

Quarterbacks are probably going 1,2 and 3 overall. If you want the 4th guy it’s going to cost a lot more than 15, Humphries and Bucannon.

Can you imagine, if the Brownies take a QB #1 overall and the Giants are so QB desperate that they do to? The Browns can get their QB AND Barkley. That'd be insane, and might turn their franchise around.

Cleveland has to go quarterback at 1 and I don't see how the Giants don't sell that pick to Buffalo who has to be panicking right now. Pick four could get you your fourth best quarterback and you're going to give up a ton to get it.
Depending on what the Browns do with the 4th pick Elway could wind up with Barkley or Chubb.

Teams are desperate for a franchise QB. None of these top 4 QBs really appear to be a franchise type QB. They all have flaws and plenty of risks.

Hopefully this puts to rest the idea of trading up this high for our team. That's an exorbitant amount to give up, and it's only a few picks that they moved up. No point in going to 4, and don't give up your entire future for a guy who hasn't thrown an NFL pass, since that's what it would take to get to one or 2.

Wow they traded 3 2nd round picks to move up from 6 to 3.

It also makes the Colts a potential trade up or trade back partner in the 2nd round if they want to move up or down since they'll have three 2nd round picks now 36, 37, 49.

Guess they wanted to jump the Broncos and/or secure the #3 from being traded to say the Bills. The Browns can still switch their tactics and pick a QB #1 instead of 4.

But the #2 pick is out there, so someone can still possibly jump them.

If I'm the Giants, I'm going QB now. Eli did not look good last year. But is this team going to pick as high as #2 overall again anytime soon? I don't think so.

Jackson and Rudolph should be there in the second round never mind at 15
No they won't. There are six possible first round QBs in this draft and we're already seeing the run on QBs. At this rate, I'd be surprised if any are there at 15, let alone the second round.

Tampa's pick might be as high the Cards can get.

I agree. I think both Rudolph and Jackson go in the first round as well.

If I'm Keim, I'm talking with the Browns today to move up to #4.

Cards have no depth, 1 WR, a giant QB need, 1 CB, lost a safety. They have too many holes to fill. Keim is not taking a QB round 1. I dont like it and they are not trading picks to move up. Its not happening

I agree here too. I'd even be thinking long and hard about trying to jump ahead of the Bills for one of the two of them if I decided I really liked one.

I feel the same way. I just get the sense from the media that they are interested in something else. Smokescreen? Maybe if Barkley isn't there?

I think that's probably it - Barkley might be the only guy that would make them hesitate. Or maybe they have a huge preference for one of the four guys and don't want to tip it to the Browns. Third, it could just be not to upset Eli, who is already pretty unhappy with the org after the whole debacle last season that ended his streak.

I think that trade means the top 6 QBs (Darnold,Rosen,Allen,Jackson, mayfield,Rudolph ) all 1st rounders.Falk,Lauletta, mike White all 2nd round guys for teams that miss out on top 6 guys.

Cleveland now has to take a CB at #1, or risk ending up with the third QB at #4. So the Giants can be assured that Barkley will be there @ #2. Giants will have to choose between Barkley and Rosen. I'm guessing Darnold goes #1. Jets will probably take Allen over Mayfield. Draft shaping up as an interesting one.

Colts should now trade a few of those for #1 and draft Barkley.

The genius of this trade for Indy is that if this starts a frenzy to pick the QBs early and 4 of them go, they will still get Barkley or Chubb at 6. Ryan Grigson never would have pulled off this trade. Props to Chris Ballard and Indy.

We don't have to take a QB in this draft. After Darnold, we are looking at guys who will be found in next year's draft, and the year after that, etc.

I'm glad to see the Jets make the move up and show the draft capital it takes to do so. To get to No. 3 overall pick Jets are sending the Colts their sixth, 37th and 49th overall selections in this year's draft and their second-rounder in 2019.

There is only one player in this draft worthy of trading up for and that is RB Barkley. Maybe that is who the Jets are targeting?

If the guy they want isn't there at #3 . . . they can trade down to another QB hungry team and recover any lost value.

Jets are playing in front of the NY media and some of the most vocal (and hostile) fans in the NFL. The Jets are literally forced to make these kind of moves to keep the fan base in check. (Attend a Jets game if you don't believe me---don't wear your Cardinal jersey while doing so)

For what its worth: I'm seeing that some "experts"s are dropping Rosen and putting both Allen and Mayfield ahead of him.
