I guess we are in a great spot to be able to afford a loss.

I might sound stupid but it’s a long season. We weren’t going 17-0 and the Rams, Packers and Cowboys aren’t going 16-1.

Stay the course people. Just imagine if we do win this game.

After all, maybe we’re just better.

This is definitely one game we need to win for tiebreaker scenarios.

It's too bad certain players are out but at this point it doesn't matter who is playing or not on either team. I get that JJ would likely give the Cards an advantage and García needs to be available. Just win the darn game. I don't care how, just make it happen. This is not a throwaway game. It's reasonable to think that the players and coaches feel the same. imo

Yup. It’s the difference between being 3 games up on the Packers for HFA and in essence being a game back of them tied with them having the tie-breaker. There might only be 1 team that gets the bye this year but I still want HFA through the first three rounds if we don’t end up with the best record in the NFC.

We’ve also done A LOT of damage against AFC teams so far. Need more conference wins for tie breakers as well.

At this point , I get it. But in reality there are 9 games to go. A lot of things might and will happen over the next 10 weeks. It’s just as easy to believe the Cards could be 12-5 and the Packers could be 11-6 and this game will have had no bearing.

I think we have a good chance to win this game and so does Vegas. Keep the faith my friend.

Maybe we’re just better.

We rolled the dice on an aging center and an aging, oft-injured DL. Crapped out spectacularly on Watt, and Hudson has missed significant time. I've been all for the Hudson acquisition, but he MUST get back from injury soon. A great player isn't great when he's on the treatment table.

Cards will need to consider playing Conner more and keeping him in to protect. Kingsbury must adjust his game plan to protect Murray. With Ertz the Cards have plenty of weapons. They cannot afford a repeat of last week’s porous line that could have ended Murray’s season. The idea of Murray handling a bunch of free rushers with his legs is a gamble of too many unknowns. The Pack is far more dangerous than the Texans. I know Kingsbury likes a wide open offense, but the film of last week’s game was frightening.

I believe that because he was on IR, Hudson had to miss three games, with tonight being the third. Terrible news about JJ, but his presence made Arizona a better team, both on and off the field. Next man up.

Unless Garcia's achilles is really bad I think he will play. It look's like Hudson will be back next week. I think they will roll the dice on Garcia.

Hudson has/will only missed 3 games….

What is your definition of “significant time”? Sheesh.

As of today's game, he has missed almost half of the games we've played. I'd say half is pretty significant. SHEESH. Hopefully he comes back next week; hopefully, when he's back, he stays healthy.

I said it before--even in this thread--and I'll say it again. I was and am still happy we got him. We are, however, starting to pay a price for rolling dice on older players.

The one "good" thing is it turns out Harlow HAS played C in a game, he actually did some last week late in the game which I hadnt' noticed. And the story I read this morning said they're confident from that performance and practice that he can handle snaps.

The scary thing, the reason Atlanta got rid of him was he was a terrible pass blocker

I’d agree that three games is significant. I’ll bet kyler would as well. And there’s no guarantee that Hudson is back next week. Haven’t heard much on him.

Which was exactly the point many of us made in preseason. Let’s hope we are done with the consequences from playing with that fire with the Hudson and watt injuries.

Right? And we’re 2-0 in those games. He’s acting like that was the end all be all to what’s going on.

And in one of those games I saw kyler get mashed more often than in any game he’s played for the cardinals in 2+ years.

Do you know how many of those are the actual fault of the C? I don’t? And against a team with a far better DL across the board in Cleveland he was hardly touched.

I love how the narrative early in the season was how Hudson made our whole line better and now that he’s out and our line struggled the narrative is missing him wasn’t the reason. This board is great in its ability to flip flop on a dime.

No narrative from me. I fully believe we’re better with Hudson. But it hasn’t hurt or destroyed the team as stout is suggesting with The NEEDS TO BE BACK ASAP.

Im just Asking a question? Was Kyler uNader extreme pressure against a much better DL in Cleveland I don’t think he was? Was the majority of those pressures agains the Texans the fault of Max? I seriously don’t know. Do you?

If these are the only 3-4 games he misses out of the whole 17 game season, then I wouldn’t say that’s significant at all. That wouldn’t even be a quarter of the season. If he misses more games then yea that’s a significant problem.
