Well we passed on many better WR's in my opinion, I'm puking up BPA speak by Keim at this point. Also with 16 WR's taken in the first 2 days- at least 16 WR's will be pushed off bottom of NFL rosters by the final cuts in preseason- many if not all could compete with Mr. Brown for a Cardinals roster spot-

We were slotted to pick before the Niners and the Seahawks with our natural picks- We targeted Bucannon at 20 dropped back cause nobody else considered him close to 1st round value- We took him at 27 instead of trading down more to make sure we got him- HMMM I think the Rams , Niners and Sehawks did much more with less natural picks-

Again I was proud that Keim was closer to mainstream last year- This year he valuing players a round earlier than other successful teams- Same old Cardinals - Just like ghost of Cardinals draft past.

I think we may feel this way we do because we are so accustomed to having so many glaring holes and we no longer do. The couple needs we had TE/S were filled with the exact guys we needed and while there was no pass rusher available at our pick we have Abraham and a bunch of serviceable guys returning this year.

Remember when we counted so much on FA and the draft and so many UFA were relied on? Well now we have the luxury to go after very specific needs to fuel BA's plans.

Is the selection of Brown in response to the makeup of the Seattle secondary? Can the Seattle secondary be toasted by speed? Is it possible we can see Ginn and Brown have big days against Seattle? Does this pairs speed open things up for Fitz and Floyd underneath. I think this pick has a lot to do with how BASK figures to attack division rivals. Is the 49er secondary makeup similar to Seattle? Of the teams that beat SF and Sea last year did these teams have more than ample speed at the wideout positions? Would be an interesting study. Others have mentioned that the Colts speed gave Seattle all kind of fits last season. This may be the ***** in the defensive armor of the Seattle defense.

I have no doubt that BASK are building this team to compete with the Hawks and Niners.

Our offense will have far more wrinkles to it than last year. We'll be adding:
1. A real LT
2. A stud 1st round guard who didn't play a down last year.
3. Speed at the WR position
4. A great blocking TE, that will also be a great escape valve for Palmer.
5. Even without 1-4 above, we ran the ball fairly well against the Niners last year. I expect we'll be even better this year.

I completely understand that our division may be even stronger this year, but the Cardinals will be one nasty team that no one will look forward to playing against. I'll say it right now, we will be just as physical, if not more physical, than Seattle & SF. The Rams D has the potential to be special, but Bradford just doesn't scare me.

Went something like this, with about 5 minutes in between each period:

Who? Why? We just got a [position] like that. Hmm. Intriguing. Wow, that's interesting. Maybe not such a reach. Love the speed.

Now let's see if it continues because the next time I saw Ellington was at camp and I was in love.

Brown got all kinds of love from the talking heads Kiper, McShay and Mayock they said he was gonna be the steal of the draft and I love the pick the kid is a stud. 3 game winning touchdowns this year
