I don't think that Johnson will get suspended. Finnegan will. Houston has a game on Thursday too.

Too funny... And all my fights were always over some stupid sorority twit... :bang:

Young and stupid, I tell ya. There was one girl in particular that kept trying to get with my man, and did get with him eventually. I don't know why I didn't just kick HIS arse, lol.

Frat? What do you call a country?

Um, c'ya next Tuesday? :p

He'll probably get suspended when he's the most important part of his team's offense. Pretty stupid, imo.

Do punches = auto suspension in the NFL? I think they are in the nba, not sure in this league.

Seymour wasn't suspending for punching Ben, but Johnson threw several punches and ripped the helmet off so he'll probably miss a game.

Too bad, Finegan is a punk and I think every WR in the NFL who's played against him is probably texting Andre Johnson today with an attaboy comment.

But it's true if Johnson gets suspended it really hurts his team.

I think Finnegan got exposed a bit too, he gets beat down and then you can literally see him say "all day" smiling at Johnson after the fight. What all day you will get beat down?

That wasn't a punch. It was more like an open handed push of the helmet. Johnson was throwing haymakers.

In college? Are we talking actual fisticuffs and hair pulling? Or just harshly spoken name-calling?

There were a few knock-down, drag out fights. Name calling was always involved, lol.

How long do you think it will take the NFL to issue anything? Today? Tomorrow?

I agree except according to the local papers, the NFL specifically called it a punch when fining Seymour. It's why the Steelers players were complaining he should have been suspended, because the NFL called it a punch.

Then he should have been suspended too. Stupid decision by the NFL.

Im not taking anything personally, just saying you would punch me if I did a nut tap on you too.

If that were the reason, he should have done it right then. The 'nut tap' happened on earlier.

How about a jab in the throat then, that followed the nut punch?

Again, I understand why he reacted as he did. My point is that he deserves to be suspended because of the way he reacted. Plain and simple.

Honestly I feel a little bad for Johnson. We all make stupid decisions sometimes in the heat of the moment. He was baited into it by a dirty player and he made a bad decision by retaliating. He seems like a good guy and he manned up and apologized to his team after the game. You could see that he was embarrassed and I really dont think he is that kind of guy to fight out on the field and punching a guy in the back of the head... He clearly just lost it out there. Sometimes someone just pushes you too far and that's what happens. Finnegan won because he did exactly what he set out to do, he got under AJ's skin and got him to react.

IDK if they're gonna suspend either of them I dont really have strong feelings about it either way. It's definitely bad for the NFL this isn't hockey and you really dont want guys out there throwing haymakers. The sport is violent enough.
