hey i never said shipp was'nt a good back but just thinking with jordan in town maybe there was some connnection. evidently i was wrong because they can't talk until mar.2. but i don't like to compare pro who have been in the league for a while with those weight room stats once they play on the field that's really how you judge football players and anybody can see that jordan probably has more of an upside. like i said a bit more explosive and powerful. but i like shipp too but he is coming off a pretty major leg injury which is never a good thing for a back. honestly they should just draft one of the top three backs and pick up hasslebeck imo that would be the best case scenario. and they could fill in the rest of the other needs in the draft. there is no doubt they have the cash to do it.

What about Shipp and Hambrick? With Jordan, that's a pretty deep backfield, IMO.

Let them battle in camp as well. I don't like the fact that we have Scobey and Croom, it's time for an upgrade. Now before anyone jumps on me about Scobey, just remember we don't have to have a RB run back kicks or be in a backfield where everyone knows we are going to pass.

I agree with you vini about jordan and hasselback. But just because there is this rule not to talk until after March 2, doesn't mean they don't. There is always under-the-table deals. I am sure....

I say get rid of them both. Jordan (or whoever we bring in to start), Hambrick and Shipp are the HBs. We don't need to go after 2 new guys. One will do.

Well, I'll buy this, but maybe the Cards can upgrade when all the players get cut for salary reasons. One thing we agree on is we need a RB for sure!
