The #AZCardinals will target QB Kirk Cousins and OG Andrew Norwell, considering the offers to both will tie up a lot of money for the first 48-72 hours, but also would retain their own free agents.

Signing Cousins probably means another year or two added to Fitzgerald's career.

To answer my own question, no. Releasing HB after June 1st only saves anout 7 mil for 2019 whereas cutting him now saves nearly 15 mil for 2019.

2019-20 looks good but DJ and Hump will be up for new deals...

I am against signing norwell. If I was a gm I would never pay a guard more than 6mill a year.

Yes, but not till 4th round. They would still need a backup, and the cousins deal would likely be 3 years.

I only think there is a 10 percent chance on cousins, but I am glad they are trying.

I completely agree… The odds are very slim however people wondering how they could do it is silly to me you could absolutely be done if they really wanted to do it and finagle the cap

There’s a saying on local radio up here that the cap is crap. You can make that look however you want by shuffling some things around. The real question is how much money out of his pocket MB wants to pay cousins right away. That will decide if he’s coming here or not.
