That's it, Rod Graves is inept.

I guess there's no harm done if they sign him after the draft, but the odds of getting him just dropped considerably.

I completely disagree with this move also.
The only logic I can see is that they are HOPING, not considering, but hoping, to get a certain WR in RD 2 or even (gulp) RD 1 or the draft. I strongly feel we need two vets to be signed, or at least one vet and a RD 2 rookie.
This just blows. Signing him before the draft would've been smart. The more things change.......

great - so instead of being able to upgrade multiple positions by signing Robinson and then using the sixth pick on D - we hope Johnson is there at six so we can upgrade only position - and everyone knows how well Rookie WRs usually play!
If that is our "plan" then we are even bigger idiots than I have thought all along!

This tells me the Cards are actually think there's a possibility that Andre Johnson might drop down to them - and they'd take him.
They want to make sure they don't paint themselves into a corner by locking into Robinson.

Can anyone call up MRob's agent to verify this? I am floored if this is the case - I am way more pissed about this - if true - than the DB debacle. Freaking retards
