Can anyone explain the logic in letting this happen? This is totally on the Cards if it doesn't work out. WTF?!?!

Wasn't clueless Graves going to be on the air today? If so, you fans there in Phoenix (the smart ones) need to call the hosts and implore them to let Graves have it.

Unbelievable . . .

I completely disagree with this move also.

The only logic I can see is that they are HOPING, not considering, but hoping, to get a certain WR in RD 2 or even (gulp) RD 1 or the draft. I strongly feel we need two vets to be signed, or at least one vet and a RD 2 rookie.

This just blows. Signing him before the draft would've been smart. The more things change.......

I guess there's no harm done if they sign him after the draft, but the odds of getting him just dropped considerably.

Exactly. The more places he visits? The more offers he gets?

This is just friggin stupid.

You can bet

That San Fransisco is telling him...

Look you can sign here for one year and play next to Terrell Owens. You will face single coverage the whole game.

What things change? Graves has been around since the late 90s, the coaching staff has been around since 1996 - When are you guys going to wake up and realize this organization has gone under ZERO change! Let me ask you this and for whatever reason - when was the last time our first round pick rookie actually resigned here AFTER his first contract was over? Think about it - it might make you sick.

This tells me the Cards are actually think there's a possibility that Andre Johnson might drop down to them - and they'd take him.

They want to make sure they don't paint themselves into a corner by locking into Robinson.

great - so instead of being able to upgrade multiple positions by signing Robinson and then using the sixth pick on D - we hope Johnson is there at six so we can upgrade only position - and everyone knows how well Rookie WRs usually play!

If that is our "plan" then we are even bigger idiots than I have thought all along!

Can anyone call up MRob's agent to verify this? I am floored if this is the case - I am way more pissed about this - if true - than the DB debacle. Freaking retards

I think it is a pipe dream that Johnson will be there so I cannot fathom that is why they did this. Plus, isn't a bird in the hand worth two in the bush?

The ONLY way this makes sense is if 1. they really weren't that impressed with his workout, 2. they really have their eyes set on a couple WRs during the draft and they would just move on if they land both or 3. they cannot multi-task and are so unprepared for the draft that they cannot deal with trying to upgrade a position of need.

#3 is a shot by me because I simply cannot understand the rationale behind this.
