Says that KC never offered anything of substance to turn down for TJ. Says others are interested. Trying to work a deal.

Not worried about MR comming here (heard that before). Wants to wait till after the draft. Does not want to be locked in.

While drafting you must look at production, character to get a players value.

What the hell does locked in mean? Is MR asking for the moon?

Howdy seems to feel like MR wants to be here so bad that they can wait. Want's to keep options open for the draft.

If Graves didn't weant to get locke in he should have never made a contract offer in the first place and better yet he should have not had Robinson in until after the draft to make things easier. This is foolishness.

that's great a player who really wants to be here and we tell him he's not a priority - hmmm, I wonder how that makes that player feel? Even if it's the case that Graves thinks they can wait because MR really wants to be here, does he come out an say that, basically telling MR that he's not a priority? Just not good diplomacy on Graves' part if that's the case, but he is a buffoon, so the fact that he can even string a coherent sentence together (which I actually never heard him do when I listened to him in the past) should be commended. WAY TO GO GRAVES!

Howdy made a low offer. Robinson said he would end his trip in AZ if it was fair. He left town. Howdy is spinning.

If that is our "plan" then we are even bigger idiots than I have thought all along!

McGraves has been reading "How To Fool People" by Josef Goerbels and "Making Others Believe You" by Rev. Jim Jones.

No sense of urgency...none at all...pitiful, just plain pitiful...

My guess is he did lowball him thinking he could sucker him in for nothing and was outmatched because there is further interest in him. Say goodbye to Marcus. I was nice while it lasted. Feels like we hardly knew ye....

I came to a conclusion that Rod Graves doesn't like Wide Recievers...What i mean by that is...How can Graves get rid of Boston, Sanders, Jenkins....Our starting 3.....Now we go into this draft where we only had to draft 1 receiver if we got Robinson, now we go into the draft by using 2 of our picks....This Sucks!! i didn't like Graves from the begining, and i don't like him now!!

I just cannot believe this. I mean I am sitting here completely stunned. Here we have a guy who actually said he wanted to play here and this was his #1 (as in first, numero uno, top, the big cheese, the big kahuna) choice.

Graves, if you weren't impressed with his workout, go back to your office and pick up your balls out of the bottom desk drawer and say it. If that is not the case then get back to your office, pick up the phone and negotiate. Learn to multi-task (I facetiously said it earlier but suddenly I am believeing it) and handle those trade calls while you are negotiating a deal. Oh and if you aren;t ready for the draft right now, then it is too late. You have had since the combine to get your act together.

Cards first choice Brooks Barnard (Maryland).

Jeez- you guys sound like MR is the next TO, or is it DB? C'mon, he might be a nice addition but hardly worth getting bummed out for. Waiting until after the draft is okay with me.

Typical, the Cards hurry up and wait

I don't see any reason to wait till the draft to acquire a player at a position of need.

Even if, by some chance, one of the "elite" receivers dropped to the #6 spot, having M. Robinson would make the Cards even better.

I can see him landing in Oakland. By the time Rice and Brown step down, Robinson will be fully recovered from his past knee injury, and be at 100%.

Was it ever confirmed other than a little blurb from seesred that we even offered a contract yet????

Has there been any real proof????

The only other thing I've heard was that his agent said that him and Graves had "preliminary discussions ".

Thanks that what I thought.

I doubt we even offered this guy a contact yet if they werent willing to start in negotiations!

"The Cardinals have made an intial offer to recevier Marcus Robinson."

Let me hunt down the link.
