Just got home from Boston, wow what a game. One of the most exciting games I have ever seen live, second only to the super bowl. Except this time we held on somehow.

New England fans are awesome, very respectful and fun to talk to. If I sound amazed it's because I am that is not what I expected from them. Nothing like the "one who shall remain nameless."

Now to the game, my son was still shaking when we got back to the car an hour after the game was over. I thought he was going to fall over a few time there.

Something I enjoy doing after a road game is listen to the local radio program after the game. And this one did not disappoint. The funniest thing I ever heard after a game was yesterday. A caller calls in and you know how they always asked the personalities how you doing? Pick out your best Boston accent and the reply back was "doesn't matta". I laughed for the next hour on that one. It was Fred Smerlas X- New Endlander.

Of course we got little respect except for a few callers who gave props to our defense. Best $1500 I spent in a long time!!!

Glad you got to see a HUUUUUUUGE win!

I love watching my Redbirds on the road in NFL cities I've never been.

do you just buy tickets on stubhub (or ebay) and then book flights? or do you recommend booking flights first then try to find tickets?

I'd like to make another road trip - only one so far has been San Diego.

Tickets are easy to get, I usually buy mine on the teams site I'm visiting which usually goes through ticketmaster, then hotels thru Priceline or something similar.

Since you live in Hawaii, you should seriously consider a trip to Seattle though SD is nice too. The best road trip I've experienced yet was Seattle...awesome stadium & great city, though I'm expecting to top it this year in Green Bay. Have fun on ur next trip!

I'm thinking should get flights first, since you say tickets are easy to get. If I can get 2 days off from work, I wanted to try Seattle game. But then I'll have to factor in hotel expenses too - yikes!

You can stay right by the stadium & walk to the seafood harbor & stadium. Also public transportation will take you from the airport to almost anywhere you want to go & it's relatively cheap & safe
