After earning $8 million in each of the past three seasons, Teague will triple that, if not more. Sounds crazy, but NBA teams are crazy. The Memphis Grizzlies made Mike Conley – like Teague, another high school product of Indianapolis – the highest paid player in the NBA after last season, giving him a deal for five years and $153 million. That’s more than quadruple what Teague has been earning per season.

Teague and Conley are nearly identical: Teague is the same age (29) that Conley was last offseason, and in his previous five years Teague has averaged 15.3 points and 7.8 assists and shot 36 percent on 3-pointers. Conley’s five years entering free agency: 15.2 ppg, 6.9 apg, 36.9 percent on 3-pointers. Teague has been to one All-Star Game, Conley none.

Teague is going to get paid.

That's nuts.

Then again, if Teague moves on, maybe the Pacers will be interested in BK's services, heh.

As bad as knight has been a 3 year 43 million contract isnt too crazy for another team to take a flyer on in this market.

One good thing about Knight is he's not coming off some major injury. So at least a team might think a change of scenery might turn his game around.

We're most likely gonna have to take back a bad contract or give up an asset to trade Knight.

Yeah his contract may not seem as bad the others but it's still bad.

I can see maybe the Blazers trading one of Meyers Leonard, Evan Turner or Allen Crabbe for Knight.

Or if the Cavs fail to win it all and he doesn't play too well then maybe they would be interested in trading JR Smith for Knight.

Evan Turner coming off the bench is at least a decent player. Knight has been nothing better than terrible.

I'd rather send Knight out east but I guess I'll take Crabbe (good shot, great hair) maybe. If we get JR Smith for BK I hope he never plays a single game for us. Don't want that knob spending time with our young pups.

Crabbe is a less talented player than Knight and makes like 5M$ more per year.

No thanks.

The Knight situation sucks because Knight is not nearly as bad as he is made out ot be and his contract is actually very good relative to his talent and age.

Crabbe's turnover rate 1.0/36 led his team... Knight 'led' the Suns with highest TO/ST ratio at 4.0

Knight is not as bad as he's made out to be and his contract is not that bad. Doesn't that make the Knight situation relatively better than it seems?

You cannot have Crabbe and Alex Len on the floor at the same time with those turn over ratios! :)

Haha. E=mc^2, but if m=Knight, this will cause a contradiction in physical theories. Knight = -(195 lbs). So Knight causes negative energy, and negative contract value. Knight, also known as a black hole, can warp space-time to the point that playing him takes a positive point trajectory, and completely reverses it, ensuring a loss every game.
