Huge game for Budinger last night.

Kansas and UCLA both ran into teams shooting lights out from 3, UCLA survived, Kansas didn't. Actually UNC ran barely survived last night too.

I've been very impressed with his shooting in the two games I've seen so far. His shooting from 3 pt range was unbelievable last night. If he works on a mid range shot he could be the SF equivalent of Nowitzki.

Yeah he should have gone to UCLA.

:D

Definitely a great prospect, I hope he sticks around I hope Hawes sticks around, I hope the NCAA lets Mayo play at USC(so he's not really an amateur who cares). Maybe we'll see a final 4 in a couple of years of UCLA(Love), UA(Budinger), USC(Mayo) and UW(Hawes).

What you didn't think I was going to put ASU in there did you?

Mayo, Budigner and Hawes are all 1 and done most likely. At the maximum 2 years... Mayo is definately 1 and done.

Even Floyd admitted Mayo was one and done. Pruitt and Young both say they're coming back as seniors now because they want to play with Mayo, we'll see, Farmar and Afflalo said that before the NCAA tourney and then both filed, money has a lure for kids.

Budinger supposedly is talking about staying longer. Hawes is one and done. Love says 2 years, I'll believe it when I see it, likely one and done.

USC has a lot of talent if they get them all eligible and NCAA cleared, next year they could have Mayo, Pruitt, Young, Davon Jefferson and Taj Gibson on the floor. Gibson had 16, 14 boards and 2 blocks last night in 37 minutes before fouling out in a loss to South Carolina, pretty good debut, South Carolina has a couple of solid inside guys including Brandon Wallace.

The question just becomes will Jefferson actually be cleared to play and will Mayo ever actually show up. But they are already predicting a national title run next year, young and Pruitt said it in the LA Times yesterday.

Rumor has it Chase wants to play for the US Volleyball Team in the 2008 Olympics (Budinger is supposedly the best volleyball player in the world at his age) which would essnetially force him into staying at Arizona for three years. I'll believe it when I see it, NBA millions are NBA millions and Chase would probably be a lottery pick right now.

Not sure where he's going to go in the draft but I'm sure it will be much lower than Nikola Dragovic, right UCLA fans?

Yes, because top 10 is lower than 2nd round.
