I’d be surprised to see Leftwich stay, but of course the OC is a factor. Keeping Foote is smart. He’s a heady guy who can be molded.

Keeping Lefty might be a great idea, especially if McCoy becomes OC. Lefty was always known for being smart...and if the Cards draft a QBOF, someone like Lefty will be needed to mediate.

I really like that Leftwich stays. I haven’t really got anything to back it up other than how Bruce Arians has praised him, but I just think he has been a good quarterback coach and could potentially be an offensive coordinator-candidate down the road.

Personally, I hope they will also retain defensive backs coach Nick Rapone in some capacity, but I know that’s probably not going to happen since they supposedly have hired Dave Merritt. Maybe Rapone could be an assistant or something. I think he has done a fine job for years.

I read a tweet indicating rapone willing to move east, closer to his family

I actually think Drew Stanton could make a very good coach as well...sounds like he was somewhat of a QB coach on the sidelines for Carson Palmer.

Arians also touted Amos Jones as a great coach. :sarcasm: Not being snarky, just sayin' LOL

Keeping Leftwich is fine with me, he was a QB with "moxie" when he played :)
