That's not really unique to Phoenix Suns fans or even sports for that matter. In the army, it was often said that your best duty assignment ever was the one you were going to and the worst possible assignment was the one you just left. We all have a tendency to do this at times, to a degree, but I wouldn't say it sums up this board.

No you're right, I wouldn't say it sums up JUST this board. You have a point about it being a trait of almost all fans of all teams of all sports.

I don't see that it sums up this board at all... we have disputes on this very subject all the time. Heck we even have a few who are immediately on board with every move the team makes, suddenly reversing their opinion of whoever just departed.

I'm sure I've been guilty of that, but some of it is my tendency toward "glass half full" rather than "glass half emptoy". I tend to push the positive when pessimistic opinions are being pushed, but that does not change my attempt at balance.
