Is there more of a Ghost on this team than Rhodes?


I can count on one hand (maybe 1 finger) the number of times ive ever heard his name mentioned in any context this entire offseason.

In both preseason games I dont recall seeing him once. Granted I wasnt looking for him while he was playing, but when I thought back to both games, I realized I hadnt seen him.


Not a single article nor discussion on TV, Radio, Cards site, or forums regarding Rhodes.

Ive heard more about Ben Graham this offseason and preseason.


The guys a solid player. It just blows my mind when I think about how rarely I ever see any news on him. Every other player on this team, including UFA pickups have had more coverage than him. wild

During the game I wasnt.

Im talking about any context outside the game. Wouldnt you find it unusual if you went 2 or 3 months without ever hearing or seeing Peyton Mannings name? Thats how I feel with Rhodes. Considering I scower every Cards site there is, I never see anything about Rhodes.

lol indeed. When you hear the FS name over and over, it means the defense is horrible and the LB's arent doing their jobs. It's a good thing not to hear Rhodes' name, that means the D-Line and LB's are takin care of business

Yessir it really didn't forecast anything when JJ Arrington had 28 carries for 74 yards in preseason of 2005.

Other than maybe he was going to suck as a RB.

Also probably didn't tell anyone anything when Warner was 41-67-434 yards and 3TDs either. Warner was 14-19-151 yards and a TD in game 1 vs Dallas in Arizona. Should have been able to tell right away that boy knew when to play.

Ed Reed disagrees with you. He gets noticed because he makes plays.

Rhodes is a solid, unspectacular type player. He's not going to make alot of plays but he's not going to get burned alot either. He's kind of like a stay-at-home defenseman in hockey.
