Kolb played really well... So far he has 4 TD and 0 ints!!

The only two plays that were Kolb like, forced throw to Floyd that luckily turned into a TD instead of a pick and running into a one man rush sack!

Otherwise, really well played game!

I don't have any issue keeping him the starter for now.

Agree. He finished 17/24 222 yards, 2 TD's and is over 60% completions for the season. He was clearly more confident today than I've seen him. I'd let him keep playing, he's earned it at this point, preseason be damned.

I missed the game. How'd he look in the pocket?

Really good actually. Hanging in there strong and stepping up when he's supposed to usually. Had a couple of nice (forced) scrambles. Only had, I believe, 2 plays were he left the pocket early. Looks like a totally different guy in the pocket than he did in preseason or last year.

When they show the QB's face up close on the pre snap calls, you see there is no scared look in his eyes at all

Yup. Can't even think about benching him now.

9 catches, 114 yards and a touchdown?

Yes, Fitz will name Kolb the starter next week.

A couple "Old Kolb" moments, but he looked like a QB who could win a game today. Good Job Kolb.

Wait a minute so it WAS the defense those last 8 games in 2011??

I won't believe Kolb should be the starter until I hear from K9 that it's deserved.

Simple question: what's the incentive in bringing Skelton back to start?

There really isn't any that I can think of.

He looked good and probably should start until he doesn't.

Meanwhile, Skelton should read up on Wally Pipp while making certain he's ready to come in in relief at the drop of a hat

How fickled we all are...including me!

This defense allows Kolb to play within himself. I think the team has bought into this defense and realize it no longer is the 2008 Cardinals. The way it appears now, give us 20 pts. and there is a great chance we are going to win the game.

All I kept saying thru out the game was "play smart Kevin". Take a sack, throw it away and hold onto the ball.

We have two QBs that have their faults. Play the hot hand; it has nothing to do with being fickle--it has everything to do with playing the guys that give you the best chance to win.

I don't think Kolb has played brilliantly but he's not turning it over and he's doing exactly what it takes to win games.

And the key is we have a makeshift offensive line, 2 RB's less than 100% and a 3rd who looks to fall down everytime he gets the ball. Outside of Fitz there's not even a "really good" player on the O right now.

FOr those who question the playcalling of Whiz and Miller it's not easy to call plays that work with this lineup but what they are doing is protecting the ball not beating ourselves and letting the defense and ST win games.

As long as Kolb stays healthy, and the OL gives him time he will be successful with this Wr corp. He can manage the game. I was impressed today and with such a dominant D would like to see a balanced Offense. Kolb is the guy until he struggles multiple games in row.
