Is there a difference between the way Love has played in Minnesota and the way Bosh played in Toronto?
Of course Bosh didn't have a pass ONLY PG who had excellent vision to play with him and didn't have players like Kevin Martin and Pekovic but other than that?
I guess Bosh had Calderon...but seriously though, both are PFs who couldn't take the team further by themselves and need help to do it.
Suns need to trade all their picks for Love.
Bledsoe
Dragic
(insert defender/shooter here)
Plumlee
Love
If there is good chemistry with that bunch #championship

Who is the last superstar who didn't need some help? LeBron needed Wade and Bosh. Kobe needed Shaq and Gasol. Duncan first had Robinson, and then got Parker and Ginobili not to mention Pops always been there. Hell one could even argue that even Jordan needed Pippen. All this bashing on Love putting up numbers but not getting his team to the next level seems a little silly to me. You put him in the right system with other legit players and I guarantee his team would win consistently and be a perennial playoff team
the difference we're talking with Love isn't that he can't get his team to the next level...it's that he can't even get his team to ANY level...even an 8 seed. every one of those guys you mentioned above at the worst dragged their teams into the playoffs while flying solo.
The 76ers only won 35 games with Barkley the year before he was traded to the Suns.
Barkley won the MVP with the Suns but he couldn't even get the 76ers to the playoffs.
Well I guess we'll never really know with Duncan as he came to a team with D.Robinson and Sean Elliott, but I get your point. I'm not denying that Love is an unknown. He puts up excellent numbers but his team isn't winning. I also wouldn't advocate "selling the house" for him at this point. I just think its silly to bring up his stats in last nights game as "evidence" that he is the sole reason the Wolves are losing. Who is to say they wouldn't have lost by 20+ instead of 2 pts had Love not put up the numbers he did.
who's saying he's "the sole reason the Wolves are losing"? no one. there's just some of us who believe if a guy is THAT impactful of a player, those stats should lead to W's more often then they seemingly have.
Hey I'm not pointing fingers but the thread title is dedicated to Love not the Timberwolves. Anyways, I checked out the Wolves forum to see what their fans thoughts are regarding the state of the Wolves and why they're continuing to lose as I admittedly don't watch the Wolves a ton. The overwhelming opinion seems to be that Love is carrying that team and having an MVP type season. They are blaming abysmal bench play and Rubio's lack of offense for their losing ways.
We have had such success this year with guys that have put up no stats previously and are now having career years. Imagine getting a guy like Love who has already shown that he can play at a high level albeit on a bad team. I maintain my opinion that he would take this team to another level
Since the rule that you can't Trade consecutive years, has Anybody been Traded for 3 First Rounders??
I checked the last 3 years and only Dwight Howard received 3 Firsts and that was multi-Team and multi-Players. I know 3 Draft Picks have been Traded for a higher Draft
Pick but I think it's ridiculous that fans are considering Trading 5-6 First Rounders, last years 1st, and expiring for Love!

I thought this was an interesting read, somewhat.
Seems like too much credit is given to Rubio and a lot of blame on Pek
