My heart's broken by the staff this team lets run their stadium. I've had tickets for 8 years, since SDS, and have been a fan since I was two years old.

I drive or fly down from Las Vegas, and go back the same day, for every single Cardinals home game, sans five or so over the past 8 years. My 55 year old father and I got pulled up into the concourse tonight with 4:30 on the clock, with our team on defense, and were told to "sit down or be escorted out." After wondering why we were being asked to leave instead of the Bills fan that had already been pulled up to the top and sent down with a fresh beer to irritate other Cardinals fans, we were given the option of leaving or being forcefully taken by security.

While we sat there, Patrick Peterson got a turnover.

I was escorted back to my seat to pick up my ticket in front of everyone and explain that I was being ejected for "excessive standing." People booed, some left, and I'm heartbroken beyond belief. I spend my entire weekend getting to Arizona just to watch this team.

I won't be back. It pains me to say it, but abandoning my team to sit and be quiet just isn't my style. I know this isn't the first time its happened here, but I never thought it would happen to me. I hope Cardinals fans let the team know we can't have our real fans ejected so the visiting team can sit comfortably.

Unfortunately blame the nfl. They are the ones who are responsible. They made it ok for other "fans" to text security about "unruly" fans. All they need is a couple of people to say it is you and you are gone. I dont think it is a cards only thing.

Wow, really? Say what you want about Philly but they won't say boo to you for standing and cheering.

It's just... unfathomable. I don't cuss, and I've made sure to only stand on 3rd down unless it's the 4th quarter and it's a really close game. A lot of people from the section came up to support my dad and I and they still kicked us out.

Are we honestly expected to sit the entire game? Why is the team allowed to try to pump us up and get us to stand then? It seems to fly in every other stadium I see on TV...

I just don't understand, but I guess I won't be back, so I won't have to.

Very weak. Contact the Cards and complain. This poor treatment of the home fans needs to stop.

Brian is right and I would write a letter to Michael Bidwill JR. I have actually written two letters to the man on the ravings of a fan in myself asking about the team's play and even the uniforms. The man responded every time. It was signed and official, he will respond. He needs to know.

WOW... I've been to a lot of games there and never heard a peep about stuff like that. Pathetic is really the only word that comes to mind

I agree with everyone else. I'd make a twitter just to complain on their page

This is the third time I have read this kind of stuff. Until it improves there is no way I am going to another Cardinal home game. Not gonna pay 5000 & fly across the country to get kicked out for cheering too much at a football game.

I mean were is that line drawn?

That really sucks. Been there before. Happened to me a few games ago and I won't go back yet, even when I have been offered free tickets and beer.

It's just bad policy. This texting junk ruins it for me. I think I still got homies phone number if you need it. I tried to call the Cards first, but they will turn it over to SAFE. Blake from SAFE (one of the head SAFE guys) told me they were working on a work in progress.

We had safe come down and warn the Bills fans in front of us who were standing during the first couple plays of the game. We've had safe warn us before, too. I got a warning a couple years ago for standing and I was being yelled at to sit down during the opening kickoff.

The best ones are when the players are waiving their arms to get us to stand while security is telling us to sit.

Does he have an e-mail contact? Or is it best via mail?

Had season tix in 121 for 5 years. Occasional complants but 90% of the sections believes in tanding and being rowdy.

I have said it before and will say it again. If you buy tickets in the lower section of the red zone at an NFL game, you better expect there to be standing.

That being said, I was very close to having a bills fan kicked out yesterday. He was drunk and kept pushing people. Not in a violent way but harder than he should have. Instead I grabbed him when the camera guy was putting us on the big screen and did my best to pull him over the seat and onto the ground...in a friendly way. :) I didn't have a problem with him after that.

121 is a great section, im in row 40, you?
Row 40 is great becuase there is no one behind you to complain about standing, that is why we picked them when we moved from SDS. We were in sec 21 last row there.

If the person in front of u is standing u can stand.
Safe will take the side of the caller.
Play it smart rather than get kicked out.

I've been warned...got a red card
Then when they found out the lady was threatening to fight everyone they warned her and her man. All good after that.

Gotta play it smart

Also I have no respect for anyone who says they aren't going to home games....none

No respect for a 8 yr season tix holder who got kicked out due to standing? hate on staff, not the fan. He drives in from vegas for every game. You either didnt read his post or you are just rediculous in general. If I flew in from out of town and got kicked out for standing I would boycott also. Flying in = at least $100 bucks plus $100 for tix, $50 for beer. $250 a sunday and get kicked out for standing.

What people don't understand is this is just a microcosm of whats happening in Amerika. Don't think you live elsewhere, that's a faery tale. It doesn't exist.

Sorry you got kicked out. There are others on this board who have posted about their plight, so you are not some rare exception but actually are the rule.

Very few seem to care, so expect everything to get much much worse. That's where we're headed, and anyone that doesn't think so is an idiot. Millions of examples and no one cares or believes (again millions of examples what else do you need). Talk about morons.

What's next, getting kicked out for excessive breathing? Having to go to the bathroom too much? Not parking right in the middle of the parking spot and being an inch out of center? Not adhering to a 'blackout' by wearing red? Asking for no ice in your five dollar soda? What are now 'offenses' deserving penalties these days are absolutely as stupid as what I say in the sentence before. 15 years ago if I threw in 'standing during a game' in with the above, no one would bat an eye, it would be seen as ludicrous as these other statements. Now when it actually happens, no one bats an eye. No I'm not wrong on this.

Land of the imprisoned, home of the morons. Who won American Idol? Where to stand for three days for an iphone with a few extra mhz's, minimal software upgrade, and an additional gb? Do they have an app for that? Can I like it and friend it on SellyourinfoandimpersonateyouonworthlessFarcebook?

What the hell is S.A.F.E.? Another useless acronym that screws crap up. They should have absolutely no authority. Hire security guards to see problems and then go to people when there actually IS one, not this Stazi crap that serves no purpose. Guilty until proven innocent with no shot to do so. Who is your accuser? Oh wait, you don't know. Stupid. And. F. Expendable. But hey, they already have your money, what do they risk by kicking you out? Especially when no one cares afterwards anymore.

I hope someone messes with that system and shows it as the farce it is. Call out an entire section. See what the idiots do. Complain about people yelling and their drinking cups are in your sight line. People walking about. The smell of beer is making you sick. There is peanuts in your section and you are allergic. If they want info. Give them all they can handle. Children screaming. Someone spilled a cup and your walkway got sticky. Be petty as hell. Then even send in that the S.A.F.E. retards are in your way and you want them kicked out. Hey if you see something, SAY something. So yeah, the NFL is opening up a can of worms, because at some point, some franchise's fans, will cause a tizzy. People are getting po'ed about this crap being everywhere they go (and it's expanding exponentially) and some group of people will abuse the abusive system.

This is the sort of stuff we were never supposed to endure. Instead, in reality, it's only the start of something much bigger that we surely will. All needless, unnecessary, and with no benefit whatsoever. This country is utterly nuts. We're run by morons on every level. Thank you NFL for being part of the problem with absolutely no common sense. Better realize that if you needlessly bite too many hands who will buy those ten dollar beers?

Who are the scumbags that actually accept these jobs? What low-lifes. Oh wait, they needed jobs because our economy was defrauded, so they had to take anything. Still, thanks for selling out your country's soul to actually aid no one. What a useless job.

There are many elements to a franchise, but I have to think if the MB or other brass knew this kind of crap was going on, ruining their image, making people feel they are being persecuted, having conflicting rules, different standards, unamerican, and overall diminishing the Cardinals brand and product, I think they would have to change it. It's simply getting out of hand.

As said earlier on this thread, how can someone be kicked out by these morons when even the players demand for the fans to stand up and cheer. These morons are taking away home field advantage as a rule.

No one would complain about security coming to aid physical confrontations or other over the top behavior. That's the sort of legitimate authority people cheer on when enforced. The rest of this useless crap is what people are coming to either despise or ignore. So that's at least 2 ASFN'ers that weren't doing anything wrong, kicked out, during one season. With others having run-ins previous seasons. People want legitimate authority to squash legitimate problems. The system set up does not achieve that. If anything it seems to be promoting the opposite.

Thanks for coming to my defense... it'd be one thing if I hadn't ever been to a game before, and didn't know the etiquette, and spent $50 picking up tickets on StubHub for a quick trip. It's another thing altogether when the rest of the section asks about my family and I if one of us can't make the trip, and says they miss us and our cheering.

We'll be talking to them today, but honestly, there's not much that's going to come of it for me. I'd have too hard of a time going back and supporting the team when I have to fear getting ejected for the whole game.

standing and screaming on defense is not a crime.
