I am not a regular poster on this web site but follow it religiously. This thread is a godsend in itself.

I had my adenoids removed a week ago after I had went to the doctor for a clogged up ear. I should be finding out the results by Friday. I tell ya that waiting is the hardest part. Every muscle seemed to be hurting until I made up my mind to quit worrying.

Now I know adenoids are not uncommon to be removed but at 35, then it might be. So, if anyone has any spare prayers going out, then I would like to be included. I have an 18 month old that I would love to raise and teach to be a Cards fan.

Good luck to you and your brother SWD.

I think males dominate this site. If I could give you ALL some advise, it would be to get a physical EVERY YEAR. No matter what your age, or physical condition, get it done.

A physical is cheap, gives you piece of mind, and creates a road map for your doctor to reference. Most males would rather work an extra 10 hours a week than go to the doctor, even to the point of LIEING about a problem to loved ones. Don't do it.

Remember when you were young? If you wanted to participate in extra-curricular activities, you first had to get a physical. No big deal. I get my physical every year just before football season starts, like when I played. It's easy to remember, and when you get that clean bill of health, you can abuse yourself without worry for another year.

I had a sarcoma taken out of my neck in 2001. There were only a few tiny specks of malignancy in it and all I needed was to have the surrounding tissue removed but I have to go to an oncologist for a checkup every year. It's nerver racking at first when you're waiting to find out. Best of luck, hopefully everything will be ok.
