This game cheered me up after that Philly fiasco last night

Chriss's bread and butter will be the pick and roll with booker (or jackson or tatum :), crazy to think) for years. he is such a freakish athlete like amare, that pick and roll will be devastating to guard.

You can see the nice touch he has with his shot, that eventually he'll be able to make all those little shots off the roll.

I think he has a good chance at ending up better than Chriss.

The Kings drafted him with one of the picks we gave them in the Chriss trade iirc.

I remember I tuned in a couple of picks before that and I was so tickled we drafted him at the end of the first round then a bit later I found out about the Chriss deal - who was one of the guys I didn't want us to draft... poor rebounder and doubtful D, IIRC. He may turn out to be the better player of the two, yet. Sac's been sitting on Skal all year, raising my hopes we might steal him at some point. Not much chance of that now

I'm sure it was slin that liked him... he probably liked Chriss, too, because he generally loves athletic bigs.

This is my recollection.

Those offensive moves by Skal were beyond impressive and he is a rookie. Some players go their entire career without mastering these moves.

There's still a very good chance of that now. Don't forget that this is the Kings your talking about.

Suns might be able to fool them by trading Skal and some filler for Knight maybe. Or Skal for some 2nd round pick. Anything is possible with Vivek.

Skal's comparison by some draft sites was an athletic version of Channing Frye and I always found that to be a bit intriguing.

Slin like so all non European and non white players. So basically, all black players.

In my time here of over 7 years, I've never seen him actually post in support of any European draft prospect. I've always found it odd considering his location is from Germany but to each their own I suppose.

Well he likes Len. Go figure that's his exception to the rule.

As usual sunsfan88 with his Trumpesque fake news.

That is wrong, I also liked Zizic and Zubac and advocated for them. I also had Grayson Allen for our 2nd round pick if he had come out.

I don't like bad basketball players, unproductive players and low upside players. Sabonis, Poetl, Bender all fit that bill.

The drafts before I was advocating for Nikola Jokic and Clint Capela who were also shown by advanced statistic projection models to be the top 2 prospects in their drafts. I also rated Dennis Schroeder highly.

PS: I did not like the Len draft pick. There is a difference between liking a player and defending a decision to re-sign a developing player over losing him for nothing.

That's interesting. I actually wanted the Len pick. I thought he had the best potential upside.

How the hell does Bender look like a low upside player to you? Have you actually watched him play or just his stats?

Have you watched him play, he is the definition of unproductive and prio to drafting he had not done anything noteworthy since he was 16.

His horrendous rookie season so far is hardly unexpected.
