I understand your frustration. Let's hope Ayton improves with a better point guard.
This could be the first time some of these young guys have played back-to-back games. Which would explain the low scoring in the first half.

Regarding, "Let's hope Ayton improves ..." My goodness, the is the second Summer League game. Of course he, and the good first-time NBA players will improve. That is what it's all about.

Instant gratification, fans, just ain't gonna happen here. The key word is progress and we're just on Step 1.

If you're worried about Ayton being fluff and floating around then I think you would have rapidly soured on Bamba.

His motor is really bad and I think he's going to get man handled by NBA bigs.

IMO Bamba is the most likely bust of any top 10 pick.

Jackson is out the 2nd half.

Ayton needs to widen his base in the post so it's easier to get passes in. He plays too narrow which is why a lot of his incoming passes are being batted/stolen.

Absolutely stand by it and this looks even worse. To make me even more upset Bender and Jackson are making me sad. I've never wanted somebody to succeed as badly as Bender and I still think he's overly criticized. Then he does something totally goofy looking and I just can't defend it.

Here's my fear. DA may put up bigger numbers, but guys like Bamba, JJ Junior, and Doncic are going to shift click really be doing the things that translate to W's. it's going to be years if ever before DA is doing them.

BTW I'm still wishy-washy about what I would have done with this #1, but last year I would have absolutely taken LM. He would look great with this team, of course who knows how having him instead of Jackson would have changed our getting the #1. I also loved the trade to get bridges. It's painful because we should have had that draft pick already, and even though it really makes no sense I'll be hoping that Miami is still a playoff team by the time it comes to fruition.

Oh yeah, I'm disappointed there wasn't a confrontation after Harry Giles undercut Reed there.

Bender is the worst draft pick in Suns history. The guy simply has no touch or skills. If he was not 7‘1 he would not be a basketball player in any league, he sucks.

I am sick and tired of people pining for Bender to be good. It is teo years now and it was obvious that he sucks from the get go.

Dragan Bender is Nikoloz Tskitisvilli and may be worse.

Ayton gets totally alone with a clear passing lane, Harrison picks up his dribble, hesitates and turns it into a real ugly lob.

I just don't see how Ayton is supposed to impress with the guard play tonight.

Bridges though... I freaking love that kid.

The Kings have scored only 4 or 5 points in this 3rd quarter with 4:04 to go.

The Suns must be doing something right on defense.

Harrison and Bender dont fit this teams profile. They are one dimensional players. Igor wants guys that can shoot and move the ball. They have to go

Maybe the Suns are trying to showcase Bender for a trade this summer. He's getting a lot of minutes for a 3rd year guy. Unfortunately he's only tanking his value further.

John Calipari just said that Devin Booker signed the contract. Is that a scoop?

The Suns would be better not showcasing Bender if this is what the Suns are doing.

That's a possibility but I think he's playing as much as he is because Kokoskov is coaching. I don't think NBA GM's put that much stock into summer league performances, at least not enough to make or break a player's trade value.

I know Dudley said last night when asked about Ayton's performance that it was just summer league and it's really hard to gauge a player's value in that environment. He's just a player himself but I think there's something to his comment.

Suns have opened it up to a 55-39 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
