What? You can make agreements with FA's right now, but just can't officially sign them until tomorrow. Has nothing to do with playing by the rules...Keim is just 10 steps slower than everyone else.
And yet yall rip Graves for being “the snail”, well whose his protege??

The word I heard on NFL Radio this morning was Cards were offering 5 years / $145 million, with $90 million guaranteed in 1st 3 years.

That is correct, but Vikes deal allows fully guaranteed money and he gets another big money FA opportunity in 3 season when he's only 32.

Cards deal has more guaranteed in 1st 3 years and can be voided after year 3, so essentially similar deal with more $$ involved. He can still sign an extension after year 3 for more $$. The question for Kirk is, is $6 million worth leaving on the table???

That's a giant offer. Cousins must've only wanted to play for the Vikes...clearest path to the playoffs.

So he can get $84 million guaranteed from the Vikings for three years or he can get $90 million guaranteed or the same length of time from the Cardinals?

Vikings are a complete team. Cardinals are a question mark. The six million dollar explains it

We never did have a chance of winning our division this year. New coach, new system, relatively low roster talent. Rams, and 49ers are probably the two best up and coming teams in the league right now.

At QB we are obviously screwed. We can trade a ridiculous amount to move up which we cannot afford considering our lack of good young players, and it only has 50% chance of working, or we do nothing and pray a 2nd tier qb surprises.

Our best chance is to go after Bridgewater hard and hope he makes a complete come back, but sadly I bet he goes to the jets, and we end up with Bradford.

Ok this is my point!! The 49ers were 0-10!!!!! And they get a QB not better than cousins!!! And now the 49ers are top 6 teams in the NFL. Why????? Hmmmm

hyperbole ... that is why

The season starts in september and only teams that play for it on december are contender, all the other teams are pretender.

He didn't. Signed fully guaranteed deal. $84 million for 3 years.

State tax difference so maybe the offers were closer than we think. Michigan state thing. The other item with minney he is likely to have more success in that three year period helping him pot with that next contract. He would have been foolish to take a different offer.

Arizona Income Tax. Like the federal income tax, Arizona's state income tax has rates based on income brackets. The rates range from 2.59% to 4.54%, with higher brackets paying higher rates. The table below shows the tax brackets for Arizona taxpayers.

State taxes: Minnesota. Minnesota has 4 state income tax rates: 5.35%, 7.05%,7.85% and 9.85%. More on Minnesota taxes can be found in the tabbed pages below.

In 2012 Michigan's statewide flat tax rate fell from 4.35% to 4.25%, although the city income taxes levied by 22 Michigan cities, including Detroit, were untouched. At the same time, Michigan increased its personal exemption. Michigan has a single sales tax rate of 6%.

Go with thought two then like resale value after three years.

I moved here from Minneapolis. My property tax there for my house which is the same value as my present house in Scottsdale is $12,000, here it is $3200. Property taxes in Minneapolis are 4 times more than here.

Kirk didn't want a 5 year deal. He wanted his contract to end in time for the next CBA imo.

Minnesota didn't let him leave. That's how you bag your man. Pussyfoot around and they will be gone. Now, I think he's way overpaid for his talent level but they got their man.

Kirk better get them to the SB or he will be a bust. Hey, they got to the NFC championship with Case Freakin' Keenum so who knows?

PS...he still hasn't signed. They are still working through some specific language Kirk wants in the contract. Trying to still get it done today.

BTW: Kirk and Seimian have the same agent.

In hindsight I love Cousins didn't sign with the Cards he is mediocre and would have stopped them from getting Rosen, the contract is too big, Rosen I think can easily have Cousins skill set. It seemed dark when the Cards were turned down, but now I feel the Vikes can have em, so glad Cards didn't get Cousins
