To be fair here, turnovers put the D in some bad positions. So yes, the offense definitely shares some blame in the 30 allowed.
Kyler had 1 turnover and it wasn’t deep in our own side or anything, that does not result in 30 points! A defense that sucks abs laid down for a 1 win team with a nobody running back laid down for Goff and company that’s on them not the offense! They played ball control and controlled time of possession to keep us off the field and the D let them do it!

Kingsbury came out with the perfect opening drive until someone got impatient on 3rd and 4. Was it Kliff or Kyler? Whoever it was it was the wrong time to try a lower pct. throw to Mr. Dropsie.

I get that but again that was an absolute dime of a throw. As the announcer said part of the problem was Kirk didn't have his hands together so it hit one hand then the other instead of both. Yes it's a tougher play but he's open and the ball was dropped in perfectly, he just didn't catch it.

Colt would take the underneath and maybe we get the first but I'm fine with that throw. There were others later where he took the tough throw and shouldn't have but that was 1 on 1 guys open he just dropped it

He needs to throw out them garbage draw plays. I swear they only went for at least 10 yards like 5 times since 2019.

I’ll agree to disagree at that point of the game.

Plus, the cards 2 wins last year down the stretch were against the 4 win eagles and 6 win giants.

I agree with you on this. We didn't need a big play, we need the conversion. Kyler will hopefully grow to understand this.

What drives me crazy is that he makes that throw early and then checks it down 14 times at the end of the game when we need to push it down the field.

Cool story.

I must have imagined the pick that went all the way down to inside our 5, and the touchdown that came on their very next offensive possession.

You are so right. The question is was that the play called or did Kyler check to that?

I dont know why people are complaining about throwing to open guys down field. Ertz probably would have been open if he waits, but there's a chance Josh Jones guy gets there. Idk have a probem with that play.

I'd argue the worst Kirk play was not doing a good job on the pick play on 4th down. If he gets him just enough then Ertz doesnt have to run around the defender and thats maybe a 1st down/TD.

Then the unforunate Kirk play is that Max's low snap/safety stop what would have been a 1st down play to Kirk. All out blitz and Kirk would have been open similar to the Ertz play on our 1st drive.

Had no issues for real with 1st half playcalling. Unlike the Lions game where they were begging to be gashed via the run like against the Broncos. Still Kyler struggled finding open guys that game and for the better part of the 2nd half in the Colts game.

I really thought when he threw that pass the intention was to go for it on 4th down so I didn’t mind it…until Kliff decided to kick the FG.

If I recall Kurt said you have to make those plays to start winning again. He was right.
