Kliff can’t make Kyler throw the ball down the field.

Really? The coach can't call a hail Mary? He doesn't call the play where the receiver runs a 4 yard route? He can't communicate to the QB that he needs to throw it down field?

Kyler makes the dumb decision - fully enabled by a coach who babies him.

I think KK can come along as a play caller, but what I dont trust is his ability to coach up KM. KM still has awful mechanics, still doesn't go through progressions, still doesn't step up in a perfect pocket, still doesn't throw guys open...all things that are coachable, but has shown very minimal improvement thus far. If KM isn't running...his passing game leaves a lot to be desired, and I put that on KK.

They compare what we did 2 years ago to now. They completely ignore his in-game coaching, his inability to adapt, or game management skills when accessing him

This year has been a train wreck. Needing to use time outs when it wasn't necessary. Countless penalties. poopy end of quarter, end of half, end of game management. We really can't find anyone better?

Yesterday’s game was terrible but the main reason we brought Kliff in was to revamp the offense. In two years, he has taken the worst offense in the league and the worst offense in the history of the franchise to the third best offense in the league. Only people on this board will struggle to see the improvement there.

I'm imagining you're thinking about BritCard? Newcastle's loss means nothing to me, but I do enjoy the beer.

I have battered Cardinals syndrome, as we all should, but Wilks wasn't the reason for me. That sure was a bad staff, but we were 3 missed field goals away from being the same 7 win team the Cards are now. Heck, one more field goal, and we could argue it would be 8-8.

Our team has improved, but only marginally. With Arians, it felt like we were prepared weekly. Now, it seems nothing like it. I watch enough football outside of the Cardinals to see what well coached teams look like, even when the talent isn't there.
Somehow you’re seeming to forget that Zane kept us from being an 11-12 win team this year...

Your expectations of this team is different than me. For me, I expected them to improve and keep progressing under Kliff. Falling apart against Seahawks when division was on the line and falling apart when playoffs were on the line showed me everything I need to see about this team, staff and front office.

I understand there will be a year 3 and I expect them to finish under six wins and last in the division in 2021.

Well when bending bill o'brian over for the best wide receiver in the game and year 2 of kyler's progression I'd hope there would be improvement. This offense was hamstrung by the same dumb sht every week. Drives that were killed by penalties, dumb decisions to go for it on 4th down, unimaginative play calling, poor clock management. Who's at fault for all that?

Why is the play call not designed with all the WrS going to the end zone.
Kirk in the flat shouldn’t have been an option.

He can call deep combination routes, but he can’t make Kyler throw them. Even on a Hail Mary you often have a crosser to drag down an extra defender.

I agree that Coach babies him; if Kyler starts going after Kliff inside or outside the building, he’s done sooner than later. But what’s the alternative? Coach and QB feuding?

I'd rather have seen K1 take a sack trying to heave the ball than see that flat pass.

Problem is there's more often multiple receivers in the same short area than there are running free down the field.

I can’t really argue about this because I let my GamePass expire this season. I dont think that’s the case, though. Or isn’t always.

I just can’t believe that on 3rd and 7, the primary read is a 3 yard outlet to the RB and no one is at the sticks. I just think Kyler protecting his completion percentage when he should be going downfield.

Can’t prove it tho

Can we cut and run from KK and bring in Urban? Seeing he has league interest. Can't stand him..but hey, I'm a fickle football fan and if he brings us a winning football team I'm all for it. Lol

Zane is ass, but collectively, the team can make it so that it doesn’t have to rely on him to win it. Seems like when we need Kliff to step up his play calling and decision-making in the end of games, he gets outshined by the other coach.

I don’t think he protecting his completion percentage but I do think he waits to see a player come open rather than trusting they will come open. I think that’s why he misses big plays and checks down so frequently.

They rarely show it, but it looks like Kyler is waiting for his receivers to get separation when he needs to be able to throw them open. Hopkins can do that. Kirk, on occasion, can do it.

I do think it needs to be said that our poor record has coincided with the significant dip in our offensive line play. Kugler and Keim have to wear some of that. As much as I like Simmons (Vance usuage of him not included) this is why I thought Wirfs was the right pick. That unit needs a serious talent influx. Cole, Murray and Beachum are not good enough to all be starters, and you can only coach around it so much.

Please show me where Zane missed 3-4 game winning field goals. He missed opportunities to tie it up, and hit the game winner with Seattle. If Kliff would take the points, we would be in a lot of games. Instead, he's shown a constant proclivity for going for it on 4th down in our own territory.

Urban????Meyer???

No way. He’s not a NFL coach and his offense would not work.

Bucky is going enjoy him at Texas in about a year.

somehow the “third best offense” in the league only scores the 10th most points.

call me crazy, but I thought the point of offense was to... you know... SCORE POINTS.

then again, you don’t believe that GMs should be rated by how the team plays and whether they win or lose, so makes sense you don’t judge the offense by how many points they score.
