Kolb is a goner. Worst acquisition in Arizona Cardinals history.

If we had dropped Kolb, then I'd know without a doubt in my heart that the tank was full on.

Dude, you really need to learn about the game of football. Maybe K9 can give you the hookup on some coaching seminars or something.

We are putting Kolbs feet on skeltons body with Stantons brain that already knows the system. They cannot cut kolb until the machines are done merging the 3 players.

As Kolb has not yet been released, any chance the Cardinals can get a draft pick out of him? Maybe more than one team wants him.

His contract and health record would scare any team away. I'm sure teams would want him at a reduced price, maybe throw in a pick but if we do plan on competing this year Kolb gives Az the best chances with what's out there. If we release Kolb, I think we still pay him millions (I think), and then we would have to pay millions more + signing bonus millions to "upgrade". It's cheaper to keep Kolb, especially if he plays nice and re-does his contract. If he was just going to be straght up released, he would be straght up released by now.

No one would want his contract

So maybe the Cardinals are still going for a restructure. It seems the Cardinals should have already said goodbye to Kolb unless there is a remote possibility there is something positive to be gained. Probably not, but still, why the delay.

Along my thoughts.

In that case I don't think they tender Hoyer & sign Stanton. If that's the plan (I don't think so), then maybe these guys aren't any smarter than Graves & Wiz...it would really be stupid moves all the way around imo. But hey, these are the Cardinals :D

Maybe a restructure and trade with Kolb's input on destination?? But I don't see how that would help him versus just being a free agent. Maybe he wants a no-trade clause to restructure?

Hmmmm is right

Cards didn't pay Shaun King or Jeff Blake $20 million or whatever it is the Cards have given Kolb so far is what I think he is talking about. There's also a huge amount of dead money if they cut Kolb if I remember correctly. $10-$12 million. Plus DRC and a 2nd round draft pick.

So cost + production could make Kolb the worst acquisition in Cardinal history.

How much in today's dollars did Wendall Bryant get? Could be close depending on the $. Dollars + first round draft pick. Would be second.

Although I'm still hardly sad we got rid of DRC. He has still been terrible just like his last season here.
