I don't get all the enthusiasm for and blind trust in the new coaches and GM. The Cards were 7-1 against teams with losing records last season. 3-5 vs teams with winning records and 2-4 in the Division. Looks to me like Arians was the beneficiary of a weak schedule rather than a genius HC.

They drafted a bunch of role players and backups at least a round early in almost every case. Including drafting a guy who is a clone of Adrian Wilson who almost everyone on ASFN wanted out of town because he couldn't cover anybody and wanted a little too much money. And finally, to save a few $$$ they let one of their best defensive players leave as a free agent. I could go into the QB position but that would result in a 100 page thread about Logan Thomas' accuracy and Palmer being ready to join AARP.

New Stadium. Michael Bidwill. It's all hogwash. They're still the same old Cardinals.

Now if that doesn't get the Cards into the playoffs I don't know what else to do.

The improvement from the first half to the second last season was substantial. I can't wait to see the O line this year now. They should be so much improved that Carson will look elite again as he takes full advantage of his weapons. Floyd is improving drastically from his rookie year. Ginn/Brown can blow the top off any D. Fitz is still Fitz. And Ellington will be scary with a little space

Ya know what Ducky....your right. They must have spiked the kool aid or something...after a few days out in the woods, looking over the team and the schedule now that I am home again...hell....there is no way this team even manages 8 wins this season.
Last season was a fluke, and as you mention, we were just the beneficiaries of a very weak schedule....it will be painful to watch the Cardinal nation tumble into reality when this staff realizes it just aint what we thought it was.....

damn....I'm sending back my Juke Ellington jersey............

The betting line in Vegas agrees with the Kool-Aid assessment---Cards to have 7.5 wins this year.

Need to expand the Kool-Aid assessment to the other teams in our Division. They are coming back to the pack as well---Whiners D is in trouble, Hags still trying to fix their OL and WRs, Bradford will show himself to really be the bust that everything suspects.

I'm critical of the Cards---bunch of new guys on OL, weak middle of the D with injuries, players moving on, suspensions, etc.

Our NFW may have every team at 8-8. Someone will have to get to 9-7. Why not the Cards? Pass me that bucket, Jim Jones.

Nono brother you're doing it wrong.

Seahawks are a lock to repeat as SB champs again. That team has only gotten better and they are not very injury prone at all.

The 9ers have plenty of young talent to replace aging guys. Smith will come rejuvenated off his double DUI weapons possessions and drop 20 sacks on the league. Kapernick MVP

The Rams are the sleeper team in the NFC, will improve and make the playoffs

There will be the traditional two games they don't really show up; dis-engaged coaching.
