Would I be happy for Green to make him his latest project? Yeah. Just cut him at the first sign of destruction.

Because the guy is a head case. Holmgren in Seattle gave him chance after chance. The guy has major problems and was a distraction for the Seahawks last year. We don't want any part of his baggage.

What if he can catch but Hasselbeck can't throw? He seems to be partnered up with Darrell Jackson. Both guys are pretty strong in my opinion but seem to get the dropsies because of some pretty badly thrown passes. I don't claim to know everything about the situation but when more than one get a case of the dropsies I tend to look at the person throwing the ball. Even Ingram dropped the ball in the endzone when they lost to the Rams in the playoffs.

And to the Head Case excuse I have one name to throw out there........

Rany Moss.

Again, Does it matter? no. But he could be the serious deep threat we need.

Moss is an egomaniac head case who puts up great numbers regardless.

Robinson is a childish drunk who was given all the help in the world in Seattle to deal with his problems yet didnt take it, told the coaches all the right things and proceeded to get a DUI of which he plead guilty to which means he will get a 4 game suspension and maybe even a full year depending on what level of the NFL abuse program he is in.

They have a ton of WRs on the roster, the only problem is that they're all Rod Gardner-type possession guys. For all Koren's off-the-field problems, he's a bona-fide deep threat who has the ability to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.

With a team as bad as San Fran's going to be, he has to be attractive. It's kind of surprising that the 49ers weren't more interested in Plaxico Burress when they had the chance. Maybe it was T.O. hangover, or that they didn't have a coach yet, but he would have made a great safety blanket for Alex Smith next year...

When Hasselbeck hits these WRs in the hands, more often than not they should catch it.

A prime example is when Engram dropped that pass in the end zone. Man, Hasselbeck did everything he could to get the ball there--and he did. But his receiver let him down. That was a catchable ball.

It was ( pretty much) widely known that Plummer didnt really throw a catchable ball and his WR's suffered for that. I am not pinngin this all on Hasselback, and I havent heard anything regarding this, but it would be very interesting to find out if Hasselback throws a "catchable" ball

Yes, it's the quarterback's fault that his receivers, after all of spring training and the entire season, STILL can't catch the ball he throws, even tho it's their FREEKING JOB to do just that. Yeah, blame the arm motion or the release point.

Hey, if receivers can catch Michael Vick's bullet shot from the left side, a Hasselbeck ball should be no sweat.

I think there is a point there as well.

Even Rice had the dropsies last year dropping more then 5 balls and he wasnt even the main target.

So he may have a wierd spin or something to his throws.

But it is my feeling that if it hits your hands you shouldnt be dropping it.
