Concussion anyone?

He looked out of it before they cut to commercial.

Looks like he might be ok. Might as well put in Leinart at this point. The defense can't seem to make a stop anyways.

Thanks for the memories & what u brought us #13

I wish he was 28 instead of 38. Win or lose this game and whatever comes after it this postseason - hits like he has taken today will be the reason he retires, IMHO.

Time to see what Leinart does. Doesn't matter tho if the defense can't start stopping the Saints.

The shot of Brenda in the stands with eyes closed, probably praying for him to get out unijured might be Kurt's sign of whats ahead. I really think that hit knocked him silly despite it being a chest injury.

KW has stated about a thousand times in the past 2 weeks that he hasn't decided and won't make a decision until after the playoffs.

I just don't believe that. I think Kurt reexamined his priorities after the concussion at STL. I think he's done for good at the end of this season.

I really hope I'm wrong, but his comments right after the concussion about how he has a family, football isn't everything, etc., told me that he was done.

Funny it told me he wants a new contract.

We'll see but I just think it's really all theatre to get another contract, make the other side panic, give him one last deal etc.

He had every chance to just sit out the last half and pretend to be hurt, he went back in, he's not going anywhere IMO.

A lot of people are saying they think Kurt will be back because he's still playing at such a high level but I think his decision will be based more on Monday morning then Sunday afternoon.

As far as his obvious passion for the game, no HOF player ever competed at that high of a level without that same type of drive and they all retired at some point. I can't imagine any time or situation that will be easy for him to hang it up. He could be 50 and he'd still want to be out there playing football but it's going to happen eventually.

LVG, my post was to the packer poster who has Favre fiasco on the brain.

KW is the most honest and forthright person in the NFL who isn't an idiot (TO). He may retire but I don't believe he has made up his mind.

Actually I was watching his post game press conference. He made a comment that he wouldnt hold a franchise in limbo like that.

He did sign a two year contract before this year. If he feels good enough to play out the contract and retire after next year, I'd expect him to do so.

Taking a beating like #13 did today tells me he's done. The shot he took while being blocked & seeing Brenda not being able to watch him play sealed it for me. He is one tough SOB though.

Tho, like everyone on here, I also hopes he does come back. But that being said, I will not be upset with him if he decides that it is time. I look at it as he gave us something that we have dreamed of for the last 50+ years....thats a trip to the Superbowl.....his last statement says it all for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the shot KW took today and remembering the concussion he got it will be a tough decision for him to make. I know he signed a 2 year contract, but that was before the beating he took. If he decides not to come back I will understand.
