This team has gone down hill ever since Edge has been benched.

Not true. They won three straight and basically wrapped up the division after Edge was benched.

They went downhill after a) the division was basically in hand and they tuned out mentally and b) Kurt's age caught up to him and that ripple was felt throughout all facets of the team.

We weren't running enough with Edge for it to make a difference...what we did do was slowly change from a team that tried to play balanced to a team that only ran the ball because they "had to" and only a few times a game.

All I can say that the running game was not suffering like this until Edge was benched. The guy averages more than 3 yards behind the same line that TH is mightly struggling to even average 2 yards. I'm not an Edge fan but clearly he is the best back right now for picking up some positive yards on the ground. And I agree by some that he has served his sentence and Whiz needs to handle his ego.

Edge wasn't also running out of the shotgun 80% of the time either.

With the playoffs experience that E.James brings to the table combined with our current state of our running game- there is no doubt we see Edge out there come playoff time. Edge doesn't have a ring and he's hungry to get one!

Go Cardinals!

There is a hell of a lot of doubt. In his press conference yesterday, Whisenhunt said changes will likely be made. He didn't talk any specifics EXCEPT that there would be no changes in what they are doing with the running backs.

Great! Whizs' stupidity continues, WTF is wrong with this moron? Honestly what the hell is he seeing to NOT want to change it up? Just unbelievable really, only in Cardinal land.

Bull, they won 3 games against the pathetic NFC west and 2 of those were in doubt! This team hasn't competed with decent teams since Edge has been sitting period. We are getting blown out and while the Giants final score was close that game they did whatever they wanted when they wanted even without some of their star players. We have NOT been the same team as we were earlier in the season! Eventually people will take off the blinders and see Whiz is making bad, bad decisions and don't be surprised when he losses this team because its not far away at all. The players don't want to see good players sitting to the detriment of the team. This team has flat out NOT been as good without Edge on the field!

Your point has some validity but in all fairness, Anquan has been playing at an all-pro level and Edge has most definitely declined. So with Edge it is a combination of attitude and having what Whis thought was a younger and better option to replace him.

But the reality is that Edge is a reliable veteran who generates positive yards and doesn't put the offense into difficult third and long situations. That's probably the best we can hope for at this point IMO.

agreed on all points.

Get over it Whiz you freakin idiot yeah he missed a practice, that happens you know. You don't put a guy on the bench for a half a season for missing a practice. Just dumb have totally lost faith that he is the coach we need, just more dumb decisions, I swear its like coaches turn stupid when they enter this organization.

Kurt obviously believes in Edge as well as other players which says something. Kurt sure audibles out of runs plays alot maybe because he has lost faith in the negative yard carrying TH. The fact that your QB is talking about Edge in the press should be a clue to Wiz, is he really that clueless can he really not see whats going on?
