Man, he must be on Cloud 9 right now. 3 TD's and no picks in a winning cause his first game back in St. Louis. Ya gotta feel good for one of the NFL's "good guys" today.

Good job, Kurt!

He played very, very well. He avoided the rush and made the right reads all game.

I hope we extend him before the season is over and get a young QB in the offseason.

It's really a statement that we consider 75 yards total from our top-2 backs a good day running the ball.

The run game looked better than it has all year. Shipp looked good early, but Arrington looked like the player we all wanted him to in the second half. But, let's be honest, we still gained less than 100 yards on the ground all said. We need to get better--much better--on the ground if we are to compete for a playoff spot in the future.

Arrington also needs to start seeing at least 80% of the carries. He's better than Shipp now.

So much for "the team only rallies around Josh" nonsense

In 2005 Arizona Cardinals terms, today's performance was a moral 100 yard rushing game.

I dont think it was really the total yards of the running game. It was the threat of it, which made our red zone O, 3 down conversions much better.

Plus we still didnt run the ball that often. Shipp and JJ still only combined for 18 carries.

Yes Kurt has another good game to the many he has had to go along with his super bowl ring. This guy can play and always could.

Warner did just what he did when he was playing for St Louis. Used those short dump off passes as a run when he needed to. He can read defenses and react. That is what Josh could not do.

Warner exhibited what should be expected from a true starting QB. If anyone still thinks that McCown is a better option at this point, they don't know diddly about the position.

If it's a choice on re-signing only one of the two, then I want Warner.

I was surprised to hear the announcers say Kurt had told them he would like to remain in AZ and see this team turn around and retire here. No matter who we draft (if a QB) he will be a rookie. Kurt is one the better options that will be available if he is healthy and should be good for two more years. He is as good as any of the other available FA so I hope he stays. There is a world of difference between him and Josh. I really do not see Josh starting for any team next year. #1 backup perhaps but no big dollar contract.

Hold on there Tex.

Yeah I agree Warner played a great game.

Of course every fiber of his being wanted to win that game, that and the O line not being a sieve helped too.

Let's let him win a few more before annointing him the savior here. It was in a dome, his old home dome, against a team with a ton of issues itself.

Let's see him repeat that on real grass a couple of times before we get giddy here.

He also will still stand in the pocket and take a hit to get the ball off. Yes he can get injured like any other player but to anyone who questions his ability to take a hit he took some good ones today after he got completed passes off. On one of our last TD's he checked off at the line and through the ball to Fitz for an easy TD. He is the only one on this team who has the expeience to do this. If he continue to start you can bet the Cards will try and sign him for next year barring injury.
