Craig Morgan of CBSSports.com considers Kyle Orton a more likely target for the Cardinals this offseason than Vince Young.
Morgan thinks the Cardinals might be willing to meet the Broncos' reported asking price of a second-round pick if they view Orton as a long-term solution. He adds that Young's "work habits and run-in with Titans coach Jeff Fisher" make him an unlikely target. Marc Bulger and Kevin Kolb have also been mentioned as possible targets for Arizona this offseason.

I can only see this if they don't draft a QB like Gabbert or someone else high in the draft.

IMO not worth a 2nd round as its too high a pick but would give them our third for Orton.

So what you are saying is you're not really sure whether this would be a good idea?

Tough call... it would of course be a no-brainer if we only had to give up a 3rd rounder. 2nd rounder seems too damn high for Orton. However, IMO, he's done enough to make you think he could, maybe, one day prove that it was a wise investment...
These are the types of calls Whiz and Graves get paid to make. Good luck fellas...

I am familiar with Orton too bro, but nobody else is really out there. Bulger won't last, Kolb (I know you love your corn :p) is way too taxed, Young is coo-coo, and the chickens gotta keep Hasselbeck now.
Unless you are down with Alex Smith or McNaab.

What would be more fair value to make it more like Orton for a mid-2nd?

Our 2nd for Orton/5th?

Our 3rd/6th for Orton?

Do you guys get what I'm saying?

I haven't seen him play at all, so tell me about this Kolb guy. Has he proven anything yet?

NO!!!! He has not proved a thing yet... And he sure is not worth the 2 first round picks the Eagles are supposedly asking.

To be perfectly honest the times I have seen him play, he can look so good at times, and at other times, you just have to shake your head.

Do I love having to give up a high second round pick? No But compared to McNabb, Bulger or Kolb it makes it a lil easier to swallow.

I like it, but not at a second round value. Three is fine, that's the "whiff" pick for this administration.

Most teams start off by asking for a high pick. It's the business thing to do.

I'd take him for our third in a heartbeat.

Keep posting pics like this and send them to the Donks, you'll get the asking price down to a 4th rd pick. :)

I'd rather give Orton a shot than McNabb (or Young) and he is more proven than Kolb. OMG - after thai past season we are jonesing on Orton!

In his career, Orton has only completed over 60% of his passes once and that was 62.1% in '09. He does have a pretty good TD/Int ratio of 71/48 and 62/35 if you throw out his 1st year in the league. Career high passer rating is 87.5 this past year.
