Does anyone know if our KM now leads the NFL in batted down passes?

Kyler's batted ball number of 13 is between Cam Newton (6'5", 17 batted balls) and Derek Carr (6'3", 12 batted balls).
He's completing 67% of his passes which is league average (and actually a bit impressive since he has almost no passes schemed open for him).
The batted balls thing is just lazy commentary, IMO. Yes, it happens, but in the scheme of things he is doing just fine.
Kyler needs to learn use the pump fake and throw through the lanes provided by his linemen when throwing across the middle. His size is obviously a factor, but Brees and Wilson have the same limitation and have no problem completing passes across the middle because they understand when and how to do these.
He’s not really throwing up the middle very often tho.neither does Kyler according to the actual numbers

Obviously. Hard to bat balls that are coming out perpendicular to the line of scrimmage. We are talking about batted balls
