Same point. Either way if Kyler was really hurt anything more than just a bit of a stinger to the arm then he wouldn't be out there.

The offense was just off today. Mainly due to the O line letting get Kyler pressured too much.

If hudson is back at center i think actually we are better with Garcia in to play guard

There’s a compelling case to be made for Load Management for a teams stars until we have more data on the impact of a 17-game season. A road game against an out-of-conference opponent is a good time to try it.

That said, how can you ask the other 52 dudes on the roster to give their all when you’re basically unfurling the white flag. Colt McCoy can’t win an NFL game against a good team.
I was saying in the gameday thread that we really miss Hundley

If something were to happen to KM I'm nowhere near as confident in Colt as I am in Hundley to win games for us

Colt can manage a game if we have a big lead, but that's it IMO

No. I don’t buy it.

im still not convinced he was even really injured. He threw for 250+ multiple times. I think it is just an excuse that was used to explain the teams collapse.

10 TDs on the ground before the injury and one after - What does that tell you?

Hundley had one mop-up game against Seattle where he played well.

2019: 2 games played - 4/10 passing for 49 yards and 6 runs for 35 yards

0 TDs.

Why this guy keeps coming up is a mystery to me.

This

Hudson is the anchor on the Oline

Josh Jones last 2 games were a real problem. He moved back inside and admittedly he's going up against Armstead but he did not play well at all.

So if Hudson is out I sure hope Jones plays better going forward. Max seemed to play pretty well at C but a whole game is a different beast

That Kyler was getting hit to often and asked that it be dialed back.

Same as what is happening this season when he is healthy.

He can throw longer than 15 yards which opens up the offense

Colt may be a vet, but his limited ability to throw long will allow DC's to formulate a game plan much easier

Of course this is all my opinion

I thought everyone knew that. Or I’m going crazy.
I didn't think Murray shoulder injury caused a drop in production until after the season. Most of ASFN thinks it is well known. So...

That one play where josh jones just got ragdolled was embarrassing. Don’t see that happen to nfl linemen to that extent that frequently. I was embarrassed for him.

I can throw longer than 15 yards and that and 2-bucks will buy a cup of coffee.

If Hundley was actually better, he wouldn't have got beat out by Streveler, let alone Colt.

IF Hudson can play, or when, I would not be surprised if Garcia is starting at RG. Garcia has been a very pleasant surprise. He has just done his job well.

he didnt get beat out by strev..... the cards have a long history of their own particular type of morality. Hundley lost his job due to off field issues

There were 'quotes' that Strev had outplayed him in camp.

If his "off-field" issue was determinant then the Cards they would have cut as they've done others in the past.

Game up front is unforgiving when you are still developing your strength and technique. Teams are going to target Jones and try to put him in iso situations until he shows he can stop them. Not time to panic yet. Sean Harlow is also available if they want to go that route.

The fact that he stayed in and threw the ball means it's not a tear. Strain or bruise is my guess but I'm not a doctor.

Honestly, I'd rather have him sit next week regardless. We are 5-0....playoffs are now fully expected. We have to think long term

I was just thinking that we aren't going undefeated and if we are going to lose a game, even if we were at 100%, it could very well be in Cleveland. So why not just sacrifice that game in order to let Murray get well. Just see it as a needed Bye to get everyone healthy and give our subs some experience. Like you said, "think long term."

Jones has been absolutely horrendous. And even that is being kind.
