Okay. Well you go ahead and worry about it. I might be dead by then.Doesn’t mean his next contract would have the same language, especially if he plays really well for us and has the leverage in negotiations

Apparently that's not true though there's some rule from a few years ago that made it against the rules for them to put that in a contract and enforce it.
Forget which player it was, want to say it was Jameis Winston?

Just watched a video earlier today from maybe Schefter? He was reporting that he had a copy of Kyler's contract that he was reading from and baseball is on the excluded activity list. No exhibition, tryout, etc at any level or it voids the contract.

Even Dieion eventually quit baseball...and it made him even better in football.Nike doesn't want him playing baseball. They want him focused on football and reaching his potential there. Multiple sports would limit that. They want Russell Wilson not Brian Jordan. Plus, all modern players to cross over and play both had very short NFL seasons with the exception of Deion. Also, no QB has had success doing it. Drew Henson tried and played 17 games total between the two sports. Nike wants a Super Star, not a someone who might be marginal at best between to two and history tells us that is more likely the outcome should he play both. Don't kid yourself if you don't think Nike has more influence in this than anyone else.
I never remember Patrick Mahomes talking like this. Kyler Murray needs to shut up and play
