They have their #1 QB, #1 WR, #1 LT, #1 Center, #1 RB on the field. This product is not going to improve in 2021 even if they add a #2 WR.
Lol. Just because they are starters doesn’t make them “stars.”

they really need to rebuild the interior line. If the can mash the defense and stone interior rushes it will make kyler extremely dangerous . . . while kliff draws up 4 yard outs.

Definitely, the rest of our receivers wouldn't start for any others nfl teams

Murray had the same cast to start 5-2. Now 1-4 in last five. I get that they can improve on their skill players. But Murray has the talent around him and nothing justifies going on long losing streaks like this

Whether they are stars or not, what are the chances it will happen in 2021? Zilch

They played 28 games under this coach. If you still believe there is another level to this scheme, I am not sure what to say.

I'm not saying the scheme will improve under this coach.. I'm saying it can improve next year with a better scheme

This rams pass rush is no joke. Should be able to run the ball better than this against lineman trying to get up field
We averaged almost 5 yds per carry.
Could have sustained drives and slowed the pass rush in the 1st half but Kingsbury didn’t recognize and adjust.

If run game is decent, this is more of an indictment that Murray is the cause than Kliff to a good extent

Kyler is nothing more than a gimmick right now. When everything is perfect around QB’s like that they can look unstoppable. When the blocking is bad or your legs are taken away you get exposed quick. It happens to literally every running QB ever. Doesn’t mean he can’t still be great with the right commitment and coaches.

The recipe for keeping the Cards in check. Jump at the line of scrimmage to block KM passing lanes, keep a spy on him and make him beat you in the air.

There is no reason for a team to do anything different as long as it keeps working. Not sure if KM is more one dimensional than we all thought or if he is hurting more than he is letting on.

Either way the formula is working on KM.

The Oline was dominated all day no QB was going to be successful in our 1 second pocket period...

While that’s incredible it’s also pretty fact specific. For instance, how many QBs like Aaron Rodgers didn’t see the field their first two years? Or like mahomes didn’t play until late in the season?

Good question. Can you name literally ANY others who didn't start for a season or two (or three!), then put up over 60 TDs in their first two seasons as starters? (A much more "fact specific" category than just "first two seasons".)

Rodgers DID play in each of his first three years, just not much. He had 69 TDs in his first two seasons as a starter (on a team that went 13-3 and made the NFC Championship game the year prior).

Mahomes of course started one game his rookie season (on a playoff team), then put up 80 TDs in his next two... a number that will probably not be approached for a very long time!

You might've had Brady in mind, but in his first two full seasons as a starter, he "only" put up 48 total TDs.

So in your implied category of "didn't play too much for a season or two, or maybe three?, but then started, in those next two seasons when he started" Murray will end up with the 4th most TDs of all time?

I expect Herbert to join that club next season - he's got 31 TDs in 13 games.

I think what makes Marino's numbers more amazing is in the 1980s the NFL was more run heavy than it is today, so for a QB to toss 68 TDs is pretty spectacular.
