Agree on everything besides Kliffys offense. I challenge you to go look up Tyrekes, Devantes, Diggs etc game routes vs Nuks. It’s eye popping how limited Nuks is compared to those guys all over the field.

Back to coaching. I feel with everything I got that KK would find a way to fail with Cinci's, Miami's, or the eagles pass catchers.

While your points are accurate it still true that all of these coaches have dealt with high profile prima Donnas all of their career. They’re used to it. And QBs have all had differences of opinion with their coaches over time. I mean, see the pats QB this season. The best coaches know how to navigate it. Do they seek it out? No. But I think it’s hyperbole to the highest order to just say those guys and kyler would automatically be anathema to one and other. We really don’t know.
Right. QB’s have major blowups with the coaches all the time. Kurt and Haley/Whis would be at each other’s throats like once a game. Same with BA and his quarterbacks everywhere he went. Mahomes got into it with Bienemy this year. Brady always tells and screams at his coaches. So too do bad quarterbacks it’s just part of football.

I’m more concerned with Kyler throwing the ball to receivers than his “attitude” which is mostly just a stupid media narrative.

Agree that QB's, often times great QB's, get into it with coaches... IN THE HEAT OF THE BATTLE. However, that really isn't a statement of one's attitude...
From all that is being reported - consistently, Kyler's pouting and the fact that he's prone to being reclusive, is much more of a statement on a piss-poor attitude that from many accounts, is beginning to wear thin in the locker room...

I don't think KM's problem is with his attitude, and even if so, that is easily fixed. All he needs is a few Scientology workshops to get 'clear'.

Just as many people around football love Kyler for the record. I’m in between on the kid but we have to be real about that. People here acting like he’s Zach Wilson.

I mean they’re the same guy unless you ignore one has failed miserably down the stretch of every season for 10 seasons, one has crapped the bed in his lone playoff game whilst the other went to the super bowl, one followed up a playoff season with a 4-5 win season whilst the other has double digit wins again. Yeah, samesies.

And I guarantee you if Brit is falling for the “we were only bad bc of injuries bs so is bidwill. You want samesies? There you go. Brit and bidwill.
I fully expect Mikey will figure the team would have been better without the injuries and Kliff, if he really wants to keep his job, will echo that as loudly as he can. The question is, will Mikey look beyond that and realize how the crap show permeates this entire organization from top to bottom and make wholesale changes? Or will be the injuries and drunken buffoon GM and keep Kliff for another year.

I will not be shocked if it is the latter

I think what can feel like “over the top” angst with Kyler, is because most here know he’s not at all Zach Wilson. Most here can easily see the talent and ability ooozing out of Kyler. But that is precisely why there is so much griping and concern with him. As most here feel all of that immense promise is being mitigated by one individual… Kyler!

Exactly. We're all pissed at Kyler because he could be Deshaun Watson or Josh Allen level and because of nobody but himself he's not even Kirk Cousins or Derek Carr.

Zach Wilson issues were always clear. He was just over drafted.

If he played like Wilson for his whole career thus far, his attitude would put him right on par with Wilson. Nobody here or anywhere loves Kyler for his attitude; it's all about his physical traits and potential.

Nobody?
There are no absolutes in sports. I'm sure he has fans who are so devoted they see him as persecuted.

We see that in everything - sports, politics, entertainment, etc. At times people are just biased in their viewpoint no matter what evidence you present to the contrary.

Hasn't the political situation in this country shown us that?

What do you think about this? @kerouac9
I think it's somewhat fair. Most people are just looking to confirm their priors, and it's always difficult to change someone's mind once they're decided. Zac Taylor showed me a lot last night when he crossed the field and said "What are we doing getting ready to restart this game?" That's good leadership and just a humane way of going about your business.

Does it do much to change my mind that he's no more than the third-best coach in the AFC North? Not really. Not everyone can be above-average (in fact, only 49% of people can).

Amen Bobster but not the place to discuss your last thought. If anything he is a VICTIM of his own actions. I recall quite clearly how he shared his thoughts about contiinuing a baseball career...to me that was not a positive way to start a football career. Kind of pathetic that the big man who signed the contract extension has to advise him to study...try connecting the dots on that contract extension and having to remind someone to be prepared.

I mean, Tennessee has made the playoffs a good amount under Vrabel the past couple of years. What kind of innovation he brings? As cliche as it is, maybe he’s just good at leading his men. Same with Zac.
This is fair D. I see what you're saying.

Serious question.

How did we get from all of the things in this thread, including a study clause in his contract, huge regression, massive criticism, to where we are today...

reports of Kyler being an amazing leader, hard worker, everything you would want in a franchise QB, etc?

If true - what happened?

If not true - is this strictly postering for a trade?

How? I would imagine Kyler either hired a consultant or did some serious independent study on how to rehab his image. The team must've helped him as well. It may be pure posturing/team fluff, it may be 100 percent true. My money is that it's somewhere in the middle. However you want to slice it, I see it as nothing but positive.

I think he has respect for his bosses, and they talked with him about “winning behaviors” and the broader expectations for a franchise QB.

He probably changed or hired a PR team that is connecting him to new local opportunities.
