Which is why I mentioned previously that I hope that Pollock will be moved to cleanup
permanently to hit behind Goldy and in front of Souza, moving Ketel Marte to second in the order permanently, which will get him better pitches to hit, too, going along with the new contract and hopes.
Peralta/Marte/Goldy/Pollock 1-4 with Souza providing traditional low batting average/high power behind them is a formidable lineup. With Catcher/Right Field/Shortstop/Pitcher rounding them out. I think that 1-5 will even help 6-8 (regardless of who is Catching or in Right Field) by having runners on base for them.
I don't like to be pessimistic, but I don't expect that to happen when Souza returns.
